If you want drama, then go ahead. That creates tension. There will be a situation that occurs (wedding, party, etc...) where everyone will be together which is going to make you feel uncomfortable. Just find someone else to date. Women out-number men anyway...you have the advantage.

He may say he's over her but deep down inside, they will remain connected because, more than likely, they had sex. When you have sex with someone, a piece of you transfers. It's like a blood convenant. Put on your charm for someone else. It's better in the long run.

i think it would be okay. if you are that concerned about it, maybe you should talk it over with your brother's friend.
