Your issue with what he is saying to people is really his problem. He is immature and he wants to get revenge for the relationship ending. Let his stupid comments go. Whatever rumors he starts will fade quickly and by ignoring the rumors and him he will stop pretty quickly.

who broke up with who? well that could possibly tell you why. He also may still like you and don't want other people to go out with you. He may feel like he will lose you or lose the memories of what it was like by your side and.....He also may be crushed if you go out with some one else hope this helped ~ Ashley
