Trust me, you can do better!
Out there somewhere is a decent man who will appreciate someone like you who is obviously an intelligent woman. This break up may be tough at the moment but in due course you will look back fondly on your memories with this man & be glad you have moved on.

I know it's tempting but please never again move in with a man unless you are married to him. As the years go bu it is a struggle to keep any relationship on an even keel but if you are both batting from the same corner you are in with a chance. Please realise that the reason couples don't marry is because they are not committed to staying together. If you need to share chores and bills, share with a friend. This man sounds about as affectionate as a verruca and as committed to you as the checkout girl in tesco's. Lose him.

You both seem better suited to living alone. If it's his house you moved into, then it's time to move out. Go amicably and perhaps you'll get to take the phone number. But in any case, you're better getting a 0845 number which can be ported to anywhere in the country.

I hope you don't think of my answer as bad, but if it was me I'd be well rid, no-one would treat me like shite. My ex husband told me he didn't love me anymore, and that did it for me, I was out of the door. Sorry this is happening to you, and you probably don't wish to hear my answer, but I would'nt stay with a brutal man, and you are better than to stay there, you can always move your business with you. Good luck

No, he sounds like a selfish pig. If he's breaking up with you because you asked a researcher to call his mobile you're probably better off without him. Just make sure you have somewhere to live lined up if he follows through on his threats.

Run like the wind and thank your lucky stars it's over. He gets 'very brutal'? He's secretive? If your alarm bells weren't ringing violently I'd take a long hard look at myself if I were you. It's not macho it's PSYCHO! Sheesh.
