Technically speaking, you since the brain is the center of the human consciousness, you wouldn't be switching brains, you would be switching bodies, so if it were possible, you would know everything you knew before in a different body!

It would be like switching computer hard drives between two computers. You would each get what the other had and none of what you have now.

But that's a creepy thought! I don't want to switch brains with anybody else. I like mine just fine.

If it was possible to do without killing the brain then you would remember everything considering the brain is the only place memory is stored...I don't believe my kneecap has any memory in it however, the moment the brain lost circulation it would lose everything. Perhaps some memorys would be kept but the term "brain-dead" "vegitable" would apply.

If I could switch my brain it would either be with Einstein, Da vancini or Hitler. All very intelligent and capable men.

with the brain being the mass that holds information of who you are and what you are...switching it would only mean you changing a body. you would still be you and him/her will still be him/her, same personality and knowledge/intelligence...

i dont think brain transplant is possible though....not just yet...

I suppose you'd get all the memories in their brain's storage.
