i use to be friends with this guy matt in 5th grade. we crossed paths again but on myspace. i haven't talked to him in 8 years. he lives in cali and i live in new york. we can only email eachother...from writing to him, how can i find out if he's looking for a realtionship or a hookup? i'm going to california to visit my family and he lives by there. should we hang out or is he not worth my time?

how is it that the guys who actually like me are not what im lookng for, or are too close of friends with and then the ones that I like want nothing to do with me?? Is it me or am I just being picky? I mean, I kinda have to be b/c the guy I want isn't anywhere to be found... I want him to just come right up to me, hold both sides of my face and kiss me in the most romantic way I could possibly think of!!!!! If he's out there, tell him im looking for him!!

1. Guys hate sluts.
2. "Hey, are you busy?" or "Are you doing something?" -two phrases guys open with to stop from stammering on the phone.
3. Guys may be flirting around all day but before they go to sleep, they always think about the girl they truly care about.
4. Before they call, guys try to plan out a little about what they're gonna say so there aren't awkward pauses, but once he's on the phone he forgets it all and makes it up
as he goes.
5. Guys go crazy over a girl's smile.

You have one of the best conversations you've had ever, do you begin to wonder if there is a possibility of something special or do you just brush it off?
Of course every girl is different. I am very shy & I have a hard time meeting new people but I want to know if it is normal to think this way. I've just gotten back in the dating seen and I've never been good at this.

Heres what she says and what she does.
Says she misses me, loves me, wants to work it out, but everytime I talk to clarify things she gets immediately upset. Lives in Fl, I live in MN. Says that if one of us finds someone else it happens. Doesn't call or care to talk. Did when she first moved there. Now I feel that she's seeing someone else or is just really busy with work. She works 12's till 6 in the morning, but on her days off doesn't care to call. If i don't call we don't talk. Any ladies have any idea what she's trying to pull?

you know how they say you are who you hang out with, well I have found out that 3 of my girlfriends are or did cheat on their husbands. They are good friends, been friends for a long time and now when we talk they know I'm a little offish, just not the same. I love them and listen to their tales, but have no input because I'm working hard on a relationship I am dedicated to, and a person I love with my whole heart, so what advice could I give them? My boyfriend smokes marijuana just about everyday and so does all of his friends. When we got together I knew he smoked and he knew I did not. I told him that as long as he didn't smoke around me then I was ok with it. Once in a while he will talk about our future and ask me how we can live together knowing that he smokes. He is trying to hint around to occasionally being allowed to smoke in my presence. I honestly don't know how to answer that question. I really care for my boyfriend and we've been through alot together but I'm not interested in smoking at all and he isn't going to stop so here we are. I need to know if anybody else lives with someone who smokes and can it work? How do you compromise? I can't have him go in the garage in his own house! I just don't like it. He isn't lazy or unmotivated or anything like that. He has a job and pays his bills on time and is really good to me. This is just an issue I don't know how to work through. Rt now we r agreeing to disagree.

I told a good friend that if our friendship keeps growing I am considering asking her out. She sent back an email that said:

well, as to where I stand, it's pretty much as always - I want to be friends, and our friendship to grow, and be good friends - but at this point i can't see anything else. I haven't heard God nudging me, or calling me to go further, so right now I am just really hoping that things won't come between us being friends, and that we'll still be able to have the fun we've always had together. I am 46, not bald, but my hair is mostly grey, mixed with some remaining brown. I am wondering if I should dye my hair, perhaps blondish which would be closer to grey. Or should I just accept my "distinguished" looks.
