He is an insensitive jerk. if you made it clear that you have to be off the phone at a certain time, then he should respect your boundaries and responsibilities. If he doesn't it a sign that he wants to control you by being angry when he isn't in control or you don't drop everything for him. As long as you made an effort to make the situation clear, he shouldn't be mad. look at his other behavior.

if he cant respect a little thing like geting off the phone at a certian time i'm pretty sure there is a chance that he wont respect you.. tell him to go play..

tell him need to grow up and need to seriouly look at your certain time for you to call back and if he didn't believe you or don't care about you then dump him.. not worth of your time.

He wasnt mad at you he was most likely mad at the fact that he still wanted to talk to you and wasnt able to do so. its not your fault.

he should't be upset..just explain to him the rules you have at your house and to call earlier if he wants to talk for a long time.

well he's selfish... find another one that can respect your needs... these are early signs that he wants to control you, or will be a big baby when he doesnt get what he wants.
