everytime I hook up with a new guy the first kiss is always so weird. It takes a while to get used to the way he kisses. is it like this with anyone else or am I just wierd?

It is a "leap" of Faith. " Hey, does she have herpes? " "Is she getting back at a boyfriend and am I going to get a beat down for this? " " I wonder if those onions from 'In 'n' out' are still lingering?" " Are we going to 'tounge?' etc. etc. Proably if you are older , it's more like, "are those her real teeth? " " I wondered if she flosses?" " is she trying to get back at her husband and am I going to get a beatdown for this?". Somtimes I like that first kiss to be a "slightly" drunken kiss. Those can be really hot an filled with genuine lust and passion. Usually they are more safely done in a public place like a bar or baseball stadium. Or better yet have your freinds around so that they can break it up and give you that "are you crazy? " look. Then they can whisk you away to the safety of the ladies room while one them will look at the guy as "a creep",but, we know deep down that they could have used a kiss like that. Then there is that first kiss from that person that you and him have been trying to hook up with for a while and you like the flirtation and all the little games about wanting to get together,but, not trying to look to anxious. That "scary" first kiss from that she (or he) may be "the one". You know what I mean. So, yea , it definitely is an adventure. So give all the guys out there a break and give, get, share as many "first" kisses you can cause once you say " I Do " those onions from that burger may be something that you will have to live with. Life is wierd, but, we don't have to be. Good Luck!

It all depends on the kisser. Personally I can tell a lot from that first kiss. If it is passionate and crazy I have to watch that life doesn't get all out of balance. ("Use your head AND your heart" becomes my mantra!) If it is sweet and gentle-- sweeps me off my feet I'm a goner. If it is clumsy I am automatically turned off. I've "stuck it out" after bad kisses and lived to regret it. If you don't connect when you kiss then I think the chemistry just isn't going to work. You just need to keep on kissing until you find an good partner to kiss with girl!

It is weird because you were used to they way the other person would kiss. After a while you get used to the way that person kisses and you feel comfortable, but then the time to replace the person comes along and the same process repeats.

My first kiss was really awkward and i hated it. But not all kisses are like that. I think that when you're with someone new you don't really know what to expect and when you kiss them it can be weird because like i said you really dont know what to expect and all. So no you're not weird and yes it probably does happen to alot of other people. It happened to me.

I love kissing, whether it's the first or not it's great. Unless the person your kissing just has no clue what he/she is doing. But I can understand thinking the first time is weird.

I hate first kisses also. I'm never quite sure what to do with my tongue. The only thing I hate more than first kisses, is last kisses.

I adore first kisses.. there is nothing like a first kiss.. just start out slow, maybe the kisses are coming at you too fast.. Start with a soft slow kiss until you two can get into eachothers rhythm.

I like first kisses...the only thing I hate them, is because I get so nervous when I stand next to the person I am going to kiss...It is the sick feeling...a little more them butterflies...but other than that I adore them.
