You've already stated that you trust her. If you think that she is just going to have fun with her friends, then don't be upset. I went to a few frat parties in my college days because I had friends that didn't want to go alone. As long as there is complete trust in the relationship, then you should not be upset.

Everyone is going to slam you and say "Trust her if you love her" but I think they are missing your point.
If this is the first time she has asked you if you will be upset if she does something, they maybe this is also the first time she is thinking about doing something that might upset you. Talk to her calmly and find out WHY she asked this time. If she tells you she is afraid she will get drunk and have sex, then you have a whole lot to talk about. If she tells you she will be good but wanted to check with you because frat parties have a "reputation" then you are back on the "trust your woman" track. But don't just ignore her - she's sending you a signal and you should talk.

NO, Dude don't be upset but If you really trust her you not have to ask this question. Think about it, is it that you are afraid of what she might do? If that is the case then you do not trust her. Let her go to the parties and maybe even go to some with her. Don't stay home scared of what she is or isn't doing. LIVE IT UP.

I know of only one girl that went to frat parties that I didn't regard as a slut. Go to one of them with her, hang with a few frat guys and form your own opinion of what goes on there. Frat parties would be a deal breaker for me and my serious g/f.

I am assuming that this is a long distance relationship?
Five months is not a long time in terms of a relationship.
However, five months is a very long time in terms of not having sex. I think your girlfriend is telling you she needs to get serviced. She may in fact already be banging another guy who coincidentally is a member of the fraternity that is throwing the party.
If this isn't a long distance relationship, why don't you go with her to the party?

If you trust her, let her go. Going to a party does not mean that she will cheat on you. If she loves you, respects you and cares for you, she won't cheat.
I have gone to many parties without my boyfriend. He is fine with this, we trust one another. I have never cheated and am thankful that he allows me to go.
Getting mad and not letting her go will just cause conflict. I have friends whom have boyfriends like this. Very controlling and very unhealthy. They have horrible, untrustworthy relationships. They constantly fight.

If you truely trust her and she is asking if that is all right with you then she is putting the ball in your court. She is letting you know that she wants to go and wants you to know about it. If you trust her and know that she cares for you then I don't see any harm in her going to those kind of parties. She is telling you because she isn't going to go and do something or she would have kept it hidden, right?
