why are women MUCH more attractive than men ? how did this happen?

God originally meant for women to be defined by their Inner Beauty.It was the inner soul-spirit that men were to look upon.But yes,God did make them beautiful so that men would be attracted to them physically.Now there are some other qualities for a man to look for in a woman but God, wanting men and women to procreate, made the woman to look in such a way that she would be desired in a way that a man would want physical contact with her.This by the,way is all supposed to be in the context of marriage. Men are spiritually, emotionally and physically wired by God to desire women.Even the softness of women's voices are an attraction, but the attraction to women goes deeper and on many levels. Let add this;God did not make any ugly women. If you see someone whom you think is not pretty, remember that there is some man who thinks she is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. Most men, when they first meet the woman they feel like 'is the one',feel that way about the woman they marry.The first attraction is most of the time,a physical attraction.

Hmm, obviously its your point of view - and a good one(!). It is interesting that in nature the male of the species tends to be the more flamboyant (peacock; lion, cockerel and loads of fishies) whereas the females are plain at best. I guess the easy answer here is that if you stripped men and women back you may not think that so many women are that 'MUCH more attractive' - we live in a society that not only normalises but expects women to preen - think of the multi-billion pound industry in cosmetics, hair products, surgery etc. not to mention the ratio of clothes/shoes that the average female has to males. if we didnt put all that effort in I'm guessing that a whole lot less women would command the attention they do...

... so in a nutshell, the answer is we work hard at making ourselves beautiful for society, our men and most importantly ourselves (b'cos somewhere down the line self esteem seems to have become entangled with the way we look - most likely b'cos of the way pple respond to us).

hey i have seen some gorgeous men who are more attractive than women.... men dont wear make up to make themselves look attractive....they have a natural beauty, we women are beautiful anyway but a little bit of makeup makes us look even gorgeouser....everyones beautiful in their own way

beauty is in the eye of the beholder. i certainly think men are much more attractive..some men are more attractive than others of course. you are just heterosexual. that's why you do not think men are attractive. i think a nice broad, muscular chest on a man is the most attractive thing i have ever seen.
