been seeing a guy for a month now and we are pretty serious and i asked him to come back to my home town to meet my family but he didnt want too. should i be offended? i have met a few of his family members but hes relucant to meet mine, says he doesnt have the confidence and they will think he is a bogan.

Last night I was at my house with my best friends little sister, watching a movie, when she decides to go to the restroom. Amelia’s twenty-three and I’m twenty-seven, her brother and I go back to elementary school. I’ve known Amelia since the day she was born. We never really got along too well, she was always arguing about something and I was always telling her to shut up.
Anyway when she went to the bathroom I though I would pull a prank on her and scare her… I know stupid and a childish idea, but I didn’t think any harm would be done! Everyone’s done it before, hide in a dark corner and scares the hell out of the unexpected person.

Well let me get to the point. My house is very big and can be pretty creepy at night. I waited until she was done in the bathroom and walking out down the dark hall, then I jump out and scared the crap out of her!

I guess I thought she would have laughed it off or try to punch me like always. Well she screamed really loud and punched me in the chest, and stormed off. I was laughing because I thought it was funny at the time. When I went back to the living room where we were watching a movie her back was turned towards me, and her shoulders were shacking really badly. She had this very frightened look in her eyes,
I was kind of shocked because she NEVER cries!

I don’t know what came over me but the next thing I knew I was on the sofa with Amelia in my lap while she sobbed, as I stroked her hair and back, telling her I was sooo sorry. It was like an hour later and she was still holding on to me crying hysterically. She cried until she was physically exhausted.
I don’t get it we do dumb crap like that all the time and she has NEVER cried before. I know it was a stupid, stupid thing to do. I think she was crying for some other reason but I don’t know what.
Could she be crying for another reason? Is this a normal reaction? What should I do?

I had the opportunity to chat with him...they are soulmates from the feeling they display for one another. She want to go to India to married from US and they eventually will move back to India. Should she make the first move visit him in India...or should he come to the states to meet her first. This will be their first meeting.

I usually go on and on about a problem to my g/f repeating myself because she acts like she isnt listening or is disinterested in my problem with the situation. I keep going because she does this. How do I deal with her differently and still feel like I mad a point or she understands. I feel like if I dont make my point the problem will persist and she doesnt ever talk she just says ok, yeah, no or whatever to everything I say. But then when I dont say anything at all she is all over me asking me whats wrong until I say whats bothering me then she doesnt want to listen. How do I handle this situation because we do love each other very much.

i dont know what to do she loves that guy the rev jim jones.from the peoples temple.she defends him and i hear all the time how he was set up.help what can i do.this is all she thinks about .i was reading on how some woman love the bad boys.could this be her case.i mean if this happen in 78 she was 15 when this happen.good thing she didnt join that cult.im tired of hearing about him.and to make things worst she found this web of one of the woman servivors who said he was a good guy,but set up.help! im geting the creeps.

I am a mother of a 10 year old girl. In that time my stretch marks have not faded at all. Some of them go to my ribcage. I am at my ideal weight and feel really good physically. However, I am in a relationship and we haven't been intimate yet. I know that our next date will change that. Any ideas on how to lighten, distract attention from or get rid of them all together. I don't have the $ for surgery and really don't concider that an option. Any ideas?

I feel decieved at times by my g/f because she doesnt give me reasons to things she does that bother me. She used to think hanging up on me was ok and didnt understand why I would be mad about it, she tells me that she is getting a book from the library and cant even tell me wha the name of the book is. I see it as petty that she cant tell me the name of a freakin book and she thinks its petty that I have to know what the name of the book is. I said she shouldnt have told me she is getting a book if she can tell me the name of it because she knew I would ask. It seem like a power trip. Then she tells me her ex b/f is in town and the first time I came to her parents house she still had a pic up of him and her in the living room and her bedroom and she thought it wasnt a big deal. Shouldnt she have taken the pics down and understood Id be mad. She tells me some huge things that I wouldnt ask but when I ask her something simple she wont say anything. Is she trustworthy and just gaurded

How do I have a good view of myself after living in an abusive home for 25 years? My mother was very abusive and because of her abuse and controlling ways, I never got to experience a normal childhood/adolesence.

I know I'm a great worker and an asset to any employer. I have a great hobby where I feel great, too.

I want to be in a relationship but I don't feel like any guy would settle for me. Why would they settle for me if they could have someone prettier, skinnier, with nicer skin, with a nicer body?

The only time I feel REALLY confident is when I'm training my horses and riding students. I KNOW I'm good at that and it makes me feel good to do it-- compared to others? I don't always feel so confident.

How do I get to a place where I can feel confident about my appearance to have a relationship?

I'm a nice person, I'm a great friend, but I don't feel like I'm pretty enough to be asked out, or taken out.

I thought I was over my ex, but I just miss him. Its super hard not to text him and call. And know that we're trying the friend thing, I think it makes it hard for me to be honest about my feelings with him. His friends have told me that he misses our realationship and would like to get back together, but only once he thinks we've both ready to be mature about lives together. I also wonder if it is worth the bother to try again b/c there is ten years between us. I just want to know if I should follow my heart and try it again or move on for better or worse?

I feel i have a problem with me... Sometimes wen i tend to say No to my hubby for sex he takes it and does not show me any unhappy expressions.. But if that happens to me... i tend to get irritated and angry at times.. i get pissed off.. & immediatly start thinking tat he doesn't finds me sexy anymore & he have gone bored doing it with me... wat is wrong with me??
