Unbelievably I felt significant hostility when I chatted to a My Age looking bloke.
I was recently back in town after separating from husband of 11 years. I had missed attending church as hubby was not into religion and so I lapsed for a while.
I had met a few of the women and made friends. One week I chatted to this man, and from nowhere one of the said friends swooped and made it very clear he was her other half, and i was left standing alone!!!
So much for acceptance and sisterly love. I felt like a pariah and hated that I was seen as possibly a threat.
Its a really ***** feeling to be misinterpreted in this way.

I knew this man who i used to go to school with and we were always close so every time we saw each other we would quite innocently give each other a nice hug, one day he was with his woman and i hugged him the same way, and noticed the dirty look she was giving me further down, it was near christmas time i saw her tried to avoid and she came up to me and asked me do i want her man i told her straight that she seriously needed to work on her self confidence, and that me and her man go way back....well she looked a right fool and just walked off, so i knew she got the message not to mess with me.

yes, I find it best to go in one ear and out the the other. Girls play games to attract their partners attention. Might want to talk to her and find her feelings toward her boyfriend. He is probably pissed-off. Be careful.
