Singles & Dating - 15 January 2007

Recently there has been a guy that i met while he is workin behind a bar, and we get on really well. but he has a girlfriend. He has told me he is tempted by me, but would never cheat on his girlfirend, plus i wouldnt let this happen as i have been the girl that has been cheated ON.

Last night we were talking and having a laugh, and he told me that people are now ''talking'' about whats going on. i was upset, and i told him i would stay away for a while but he said he would be so angry !

i think he likes me, as he has made this clear, and i do like him, but we both respect our current positions.

Im just wondering, should i wipe this from my head as hard as it is. i cant stop thinkin about him.

what do i do???

I am quite ugly, and short 5'5, it is very difficult for me to start conversation with girl, as you know look is first impression then personality, so if a girl not every respond to you’re hi, how you going to show her personality... I go to the bar, only way they talk to me if I buy them drink, and then they disappeared, like this weekend I brought drink for about ten girls and spend more then 300 dollars, not even one girl spend more then five minute talking with me .If I give a smile to girl at bar/sport club/shop/restaurant/work, no body smile back to me.. So how I start conversation and if I say hi, they look me with bad face. I am new to the area, so not many friends... B/c of my look, even my coworkers don’t let me come with them when they go out for drinks/party etc...

So where I go, it means I will remain single for the rest of my life...I try online service, things go well till they see my picture... I am professional and financially stable…but very lonelyyyyyyyyyy..

I looked on my bf phone and seen that he called his ex at 2:00am and I got his phone and I threw it against the wall and said what is that about get out of my place and its over he said it was a stupid act and his so sorry for doing this. He has cheated on me in the past but forgave him and I just don't trust him, its just so hard to get over this I feel hurt and he wants to come back what should I do? this is my daughter's father we are 25. When I confronted him about it he lied at first. Later on he told me that he did get the phone number because she is a computer student and offered her help with his computer. He didn't tell me about it because I am "insecure and jealous." He is angry at his co-worker about telling me about it but claims that there was no flirtatious intentions in his conversation with this girl. How would you feel about this matter?

My boyfriend wants to have sex with me BADLY. He really likes me and I really like him too but I'm not ready for sex yet. And I'm also starting to think he only likes me because I have big boobs. I mean I'm struggling with a size 32 I right now. You probably get my point. And since he sleeps with me when I'm getting ready for bed he says "Hey baby, wanna have sex tonight?" and every time I say yes (I don't want to hurt him) and more and more times I have to make up an excuse. I'm 29 and I recently got talking to a 19 year old girl at a bar. We got close over the last few weeks and the age difference has never come up. We have similar interests, Similar goals in life and we get on great.

However when I told my friends they REALLY had a go at me. Saying I was too old for 19 year old girls. I am really upset about this. I didn't think of her age at the time and I don't really see how its an issue. But maybe I've just become a dirty old man...

Okay, I have a question regarding something that a woman might say to break up with someone. Lets say you have a three year relationship with someone. You are very close. You practically lived together. You were always enjoying each other's time. If you did argue then it wasn't something you couldn't resolve the same day. Then the person, surprisingly, breaks up with you and says "I don't know why. I woke up this morning and just felt it was something I had to do." Now, what would you think that means?

Just to be clear.. this wasn't me.. it was my roommate (seriously). All parties invovled are consently adults! The two guys she's seeing right now are both casual relationships, no strings attached, no commitment.... so everyone is single in this situation.

So the question is: Do you consider this skanky?... or acceptable since their are no ties, and no hurt feelings are involved?

I'm still trying to get over my boyfriend from a month ago when he dumped me and it really hurt. I think i have a crush on another guy and i've already had a rebound but there are so many things wrong, he's my friends ex, hes shorter than me, in a lower grade, and younger, all my turnoffs but i really like him and my friend is actually trrying to set us up but he says he doesn't want to ruin the friendship. Ok i like this boy... he is soo cute.. really nice, funny and makes me smile.. I havent known him long though.. I met him Saturday night... he and my friend picked up to go partyin...
