I'm still trying to get over my boyfriend from a month ago when he dumped me and it really hurt. I think i have a crush on another guy and i've already had a rebound but there are so many things wrong, he's my friends ex, hes shorter than me, in a lower grade, and younger, all my turnoffs but i really like him and my friend is actually trrying to set us up but he says he doesn't want to ruin the friendship. Shoul i try harder to get him to go out with me or leave it to us just being friends?

That's exactly what I'm going through at the moment, I'm going out with family friends and being single isn't the worse thing in the world, once i accepted the fact that's my past relationship is over...time to move on and discover myself again, have not yet started dating ''to soon for me'' It still feels strange though comming out of a four year relationship, making decisions on behalf of two ''seemed normal for me...now I'm living a different life.
the single life can be just as exciting, put your head up and live life to the fullest..we all only have one life ''enjoy it, don't waste it''
You can be friends with this new guy, enjoy his company and good luck

Leave it as friends.
Thats what your gut instinct says and its right.
You are still rebounding and hurt, besides, thiers more to it since he's your ex's friend and your still hurting.(your trying to get back at your ex)

if he doesn't want to go for it, don't be desperate. there are plenty of fish in the sea! (even more in the ocean) so just wait it out and just .... i don't know, flirt if you have to, but don't expect anything from him. if he does go for you, take it slow, don't expect a full-blown relationship right away.

stay real good friends, and maybe one day he will ask you to be more than friends
but stay close friends and stay close by him

good luck

Let it be. You're not ready and he's not interested.
