Is this a long time g/f or is it a new relationship? If it's new, make sure you wait (assuming you haven't had sex yet) until she gets to know you personally, so you don't scare her away. Make sure the moment is calm and relaxing, don't spit it out at the wrong time. Start the conversation by talking about what you like about her and why she is special to you and then lead into the topic. Who knows, maybe she had a STD in the past and has something to share with you........
Good luck!

Yeah, before you guys get intimate (if possible). Because the last thing you want is to give her herpes without knowing, and if for some reason it doesn't work out, her spreading it without her knowledge would be devastating.
You have to be honest about these things. I mean, how can you build a relationship without disclosing something like that first? Sure, you don't have to bring it up if you're not having sex (and by sex, I don't mean just intercourse, but any type of oral sex too). If you think the relationship is leading there, you HAVE to tell her. That's the decent and right thing to do.
Now if you're already in a sexual relationship with her, you have to just come out and say it, but you should prepare yourself for any negative reprecussions that may come out it.
Good luck.

Well hopefully before you have sex!! if you already did then asap!! so she can get herself tested and decide if she wants to continue a relationship with you. Hopefully you had enough respect for her to not expose her without her knowing ahead of time.

Before you sleep with her!!! dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb.
Obviously you need to talk, and in some states you can be sued for passing an STD without the other person knowing, and understanding the facts of the situation.

I think you need to be telling your girlfriend immediately. If you hold off on telling her and she finds out, she will be furious! I know I would be! Good luck!

before you have any physical contact, if you have the disease then your doctor should have informed how it is passed along, so stop short of that and let her make the decision as to weather to continue or not. Please have all your information, and medical facts on hand to answer any questions, and good luck

tell her immediatly and hopefully you guys have not had any sexual relations. wont you feel bad if you give her that and she has to live with it for the rest of her life?? she is going to find out eventually so you need to tell her sooner than later.
