Singles & Dating - 5 January 2007

I am currently in a relationship and am dating a "needy girl" who wants me every minute of the day, she even wants me to spend the night 4 days out of the week at her parents house, but I just recently told her that I can only stay the weekends(Saturday&Sunday), 2 reasons I like my alone time and also I like being in my own home instead of someone elses, am I wrong for wanting alone time in a relationship, also when my girlfriend moves in there won't be this hanging out Saturday nights at the bar with all the other guys from work till early morning hours, I can't have any time to myself, should I just break off the relationship and find someone who will let me at least have all my alone time or maybe I am more for single life then being with someone right now.

Whats your take on internet dating? Have you tried it or know someone who has? And would you try it or have you tried it? What site(s) did you use or do you recomend.

***My SIL and Brother me on one and I have another couple who also met this way and are now married. I have tried it once or twice and gotten nowhere. I am wondering if its the sites I tried and/or the scene altogehter.

There is a Futurama episode in which Fry wins Leela's heart with a simple note, "I love you Leela." Granted, the note was composed of about 50 stars, but that episode is an excellent example of my question. Is making a girl feel loved all it takes to get her to fall in love?

Ladies, is a stupendously grand gesture showing how truly and deeply a guy loves you enough to get you interested, even if it's a guy you never considered dating before... or even better, what if it's a guy you have actually rejected, or how about an ex?

If one of your good male friends kept asking you out and you kept rejecting him, then he somehow absolutely did the most amazing thing to show you how much he is madly, deeply and passionately in love with you, would you be impressed enough to consider going out on at least one date, or would you simply be freaked out?

So many people here answer this often asked question with a, "tell her." But is that REALLY a good solution, even here?

I'm tired of the endless mind games and the trying to figure out people. It shouldn't be so hard. Why can't we just date without any hang-ups, mind games, and all of the other bs that comes with it? Eventually, I would like to get married but at the same time, I'm like phuck it!!! People play too many games and I'm not up for the bs. I've been told that I need to play the game too but that's not for me.

Is there any people out there that aint about the game playing? I'm just sick off it. I'm not asking for and instant commitment from anyone. All I want to do is go and have fun like going to a movie, dinner, club, etc. So what's the problem? I should be a man's dream because I love my independence so I dont have to be around you 24/7. I don't telephone harass anyone. PLUS, if you go out with your homeboys and or to a strip club, thats find with me.

Also, It seems that I attract men that drain me emotionally. I'm working on changing that.
