Do you have any tips on how to talk to a guy without looking retarded?

I really like this kid named Zac! He is so nice and we talk a lot kinda but i always get tonguetied so i let him do most the talking b/c i don't want to sound stupid! Any Advice?

Just stay cool.. Stay calm..... Don't be afraid if you look stupid.. I don't think that you are stupid.... I hope you and Zac get well.. :)
