Singles & Dating - 4 January 2007

I'm 18 and a Senior in High School. My bf who attends my school dumped me on CHRISTMAS over the phone and I did not see it coming. I did everything I could to be a good girlfriend, I went to all of his basketball games and called him afterwards to tell him how well he played, I gave him his space when he needed it and I was always loyal and honest with him.
He told me I did all of that stuff right, but he thinks I'm about to be an alcoholic. I've been around him drunk ONCE and he has smoked pot a few times and I NEVER complain about it. He said he broke up with me because of this and I care too much about other people and not enough about myself. Now that we are back in school, everyone knows I was dumped and it's humiliating. I don't know how I should act around him! And today when I walked by him he grabbed my waist like he used to do , I don't know why. .Please help I don't know how to act around him and even after all the pain he has put me through, I miss being his gf.

I got caught in this relationship with a guest that stays at my hotel.
I wound up making out with him in his hotel room.
the next day he appologized to me about 10 times.
he just wants to be good friends now but I feel akward around him.
now I find out that he is going back to india in a month to get married! I feel awful! I don't want to see him anymore but I know I will! I feel like I had an affair with a married man.

My second-cousin has been dating the same girl for four years. At one point they even lived with my first cousin and her Husband. Now his Mother is jealous of the girlfriend and feel's that she's taking him away from her. They all constantly ask for my advice? What should I tell them. I think my cousin is being manipulative with her Son adn his girlfriend. She calls herself a Christian yet is always contradicting what she preaches. What should I do?

Alright, Im probably being a little thick headed, but here goes, a lady Ive known casually for a few years came into the store and asked if I drank (this question came after a few minutes of chit chat), I replied yes on occasion, then out of no where she asked if I was single, and I replied yes. Thats basically how the story ends. I want to ask her out but Im afraid to say anything to a woman other than business related when Im working. My gf recently left me for a olympic longjumper!! My confidence is shattered. I am 19 years old. I'm 5ft 11,suttly spiked brown hair with big brown eyes. I "apparantly" have a nice smile. Im medium built and due to my line of work (fitness trainer) have quite a toned build. I have two tattoos. (not gruesome). Most say i am a very good looking bloke. I do have a slight temper but i would never do anything like strike a girl! I truly can't understand why she left. Im heartbroken. Shes given me no answers. Am i complete idiot for caring?

The other night.........?
I asked a girl I had met before for her number. New Year's eve, her and I were talking, she actually started talking to me and her and I chatted a bit and she told me several times she was going to another party.....but may be coming back.

So I told her that I would say bye to her before she left.....I was going to plan to ask for her number there when she was leaving and I asked in case she wasn't coming back if I could call her sometime.

Her response? Kind of looking away, like she was thinking about something. And then she said "I think I may be coming back:" and then walked away.

Did she read me wrong from the intial first convo, or was it as clear to everyone else INCLUDING myself that she wasn't interested?

I kinda broke up with my bf on newyears eve, on new years day i talked to him and told him i love him and i wanted him back, he then told me that i wasn't worth it, that he was bored and tired of me. I kinda gave him his space and tried to think things up and everytime i saw him i acted happy because i didn't want him to think i missed him. After what he had told me was that the right thing to do? ... Well anyways, today I was talkin to him and he told me he'll leave and not come back, so i told him my TRUE feelings, I told him that i love him and cant be without him. He just laughed and told me I should be an actress.

few weeks before i graduated from college which i just did, i met a girl. one time, late at night, when we were both studying, she said she was starving so i wanted to feed her, but it was 2am so no place was open so i told her to come back to my room. i was REALLY busy at that time with papers and working a full time job so my room was really messy, even though i had cleaned it a week before. there was newspaper on the floor because i am a painter. that was the only time she saw my room. we are still friends and both kinda like each other but i still can't get over the way my room was the only time she saw it and i graduated so i won't have another chance. i feel like a bum. why do i keep dwelling on this??

He is so sweet and everything, but when I think of him, I don't see him in a "liking" way. But, I am constantly talking about all the funny stuff he does and everyone thinks I like him. i left out of sight and that was that. now the school security said to keep him alert if anything else happens. but im scared if he does it again
