My second-cousin has been dating the same girl for four years. At one point they even lived with my first cousin and her Husband. Now his Mother is jealous of the girlfriend and feel's that she's taking him away from her. They all constantly ask for my advice? What should I tell them. I think my cousin is being manipulative with her Son adn his girlfriend. She calls herself a Christian yet is always contradicting what she preaches. What should I do?

It sounds like a pretty typical scenario.... mother vs son's girlfiend

the only advice I can give you is to try to stay out of it. It really doesn't involve you and when other people try to get you involved you should tell them exactly that.

unless of course you don't mind giving your opinion... in which case just be honest. You never know, if what you are thinking is true, by you actually bringing that to your cousins attention, might make her wake up to herself. (i wouldn't suggest you do this but hey, if you need to get it off your chest just go for it.)

It's best to just stay out of it. Next time they ask for your opinion just say that you'd rather not be involved. The mother does need to step back and let her son grow.
