The other night.........?
I asked a girl I had met before for her number. New Year's eve, her and I were talking, she actually started talking to me and her and I chatted a bit and she told me several times she was going to another party.....but may be coming back.
So I told her that I would say bye to her before she left.....I was going to plan to ask for her number there when she was leaving and I asked in case she wasn't coming back if I could call her sometime.
Her response? Kind of looking away, like she was thinking about something. And then she said "I think I may be coming back:" and then walked away.
Did she read me wrong from the intial first convo, or was it as clear to everyone else INCLUDING myself that she wasn't interested?

if she had come back to the party you problably would've been her first choice i think she was going to play the field at the other party and see what came of the two dont stress on it she sounds like she was just looking for a temp date for the night you may have had fun that night and never heard from her again that would have been worse

from whaqt details i read, it sounds to me that she wasnt really all that interested in you.... altho, since she did come up and start talking to you, she may be thinking about it and didnt know just yet, or maybe she's jsut an outgoing person.

She may have been interested in talking to you, but she definitely was not interested in dating you . This can be for many reasons, but apparently she was not interested. No big deal, happens to everyone.

First off, how old is this girl? She may have been playing hard to get or she may have been checking out something better to do...she sounds very indecisive. I would totally ignore her and it will drive her mad

I'm sorry, but I think she didn't want to give you her number. If she wanted to, she would've said: "Let me give you my number now, just in case you're gone when I come back".
