I'm 20 and he is 18. We're 2 years a a couple months apart. He is amazing and more mature than most older men I've dated and he treats me well as a friend. I want more and so does he. Does age difference matter at this age?

Is it wrong for me to be 3 years older than my boyfriend? You see I don't know what to do, b/c he's dad doesn't like me b/c of me being 3 years older than my boyfriend. What should I do? His dad scares me b/c of him not approving of me. Should I break up with him b/c of his dad not approving of me?I'm afraid to call b/c of his dad, and he doesn't have a cell. Also, his dad only allows him 15 minutes on the phone if I do decide to call him, which isn't very often. What should I do? Please Help!! I really love him, and we been going out for 3 years. But his dad wants him to go out with 2 of my other friends, one who is 11 months younger than me, and the other one who is 2 years younger then him. You see his dad only likes him going out with 2 years younger or 2 years older. Please Help!! I don't know what to do!!

When I worked in the same section as him, he always seem to be at the teapoint the same time as me. I changed the times I was there to see if he would turn up. He did once but that was it. He seemed to make a point of talking to me but it never got past the point of general trivia. Could he have been shy ?I really would like some advice on ways to check if he fancies me. Can anyone give me advice ?

Ok, I am always paying for everything! I left highschool and went into a job as an apartment manager- I make good money for someone just coming out of highschool. However, my boyfriend (soon to be fiance) sits at home with no job, no college, and expects me to pay for everything! I don't mind paying sometimes- but its starting to get to me. He also doesn't have a car or licence for that matter- he's almost 19 years old. Please don't call him names- he's a doll really, he's been through more than you could imagen. I just need to know what I can do and how to approach him with telling him that he needs to get his **** together. I mean, I could just tell him but I don't want to hurt his feelings- he's already had a hard life.. What do I do?

I have had 2 unhealthy relationships in the past 2 years which left me with trust issues regarding men. I met someone that expressed an interest with me and I told him that I wanted to establish friendship first before having a physical relationship. He asked me how long, and I said however long it takes..8 months, or more, whatever. He said he was not willing to wait for 8 months. Should I assume that this man has a hidden agenda? ...and does not really care about me? (Even though he say's he does) I, myself would absolutely sustain if I felt he was the right one...and would give him as much time as possible...then again, I am not a man.

I am only 19 but I honestly think that I have found the person that i am meant to be with. We have been dating for almost a month and a half but EVERYTHING is PERFECT. I am extremely excepted in his family as he is mine. We have had no arguments or disagreements. Everything he says is perfect and I know that I am falling head over heels in love with him. He is EVERYTHING that i could EVER want or need in a mate. An education, a career, and a heart full of love. He respects me to the fullest and does his best to make sure that I am beyond happy. I honestly feel like if he asked me to marry him today and us wed tomorrow i would do it! ... He is only 20 but I think he knows exactly where he is going. I have only known him about 2 months but i have no doubt about us and niether does he. I think he feels the same way that I do.... It is like a fairytale come true..So, do you think that i could have found my soul mate the one guy that was meant for me?

Long story short, I've been really in love with this guy for about a year and a half, we just admitted it about a month ago and we've got a lot of backed up, for lack of a better word passion. I haven't seen him in two weeks and now I'm worried the relationship is going to go too far.

I'm only 14, he's a bit older. Right now we've only kissed. When I'm in my right mind, I don't want it to go any further. But when I'm with him, and everything's been heating up, both of us start making moves I don't want us to make. I don't want anything besides hugging and kissing. Definitely no sex. No sexual touching. I'm going to get carried away in the moment and I want to be sure of how to handle myself.

Also, is it unfair to have just been on the cusp of doing something, and then to just break it off and start only cuddling instead?

what is wrong with me. i am sabotaging my new relationship with my bf. I have been seeing him about 6 months now, but have been friends with him for about a year. He has been so sweet and a gentlemen to me. I love his affection and also give him back the same, and definitely treat him nice, but at times I seem to get moody and sometimes start acting up like oh, maybe this wont work out, maybe we should just be friends. I told him this the first time, i hurt him emotionally, I made him cry. I didnt know i had the power to do that to him, he left the next day and drove up 6hrs to see me in. I broke his heart twice, i did it again. I do care alot for him. But what I dont understand is, when we are apart, I miss him and want him and think of him, and he is here with me for his winter break for 3 weeks, and the first week I was fine, but then something happened, I seem to be acting up again, and always upset or give him the silent treatment. and its not fair to him. He distanced himself.

All of my female friends have kids. All but one of them are struggling single mother's who are doing their best to raise their kids in a single parent home. A couple of them have been pregnant multiple times and have had abortions to get rid of the children that they don't want.
I asked one of my friends why does she stay with her boyfriend who she has complained to me about many times and has called a no good looser on many occasions. She told me that she stays with him because it is better than being alone. This seems to be the consensous of a lot of young women today. "I would rather have a piece of slop man than be alone". I don't understand this kind of thinking at all. I'm 30 single, no kids, no man and I am very happy to be single. It doesn't bother me at all that I don't have some no good looser laying up in my bed living off of me. Am I the only one that feels this way??

I find myself talking about my boyfriend a lot...

I am spending the holidays with my parents. And I realize that I talk about him way too much... that he comes up a lot in conversations... like "Jacob does this... Jacob does that... Jacob and I went here before... etc etc." It's bugging me. I feel like I'm wearing his name out!!

I don't want my parents to get tired of hearing about him either. LOL. I love him!!! We've been together for almost 11 months... almost a year. I just feel like he's the only one I talk about... the only one I think about... I feel clingy in a way. But in fact, I'm not clingy at all. I even try to catch myself before I bring him up again.

Do you guys feel like you talk about your significant other too much?

I hear women/men say all the time that they want kids NOW. Yet, most of them haven't finished school or don't have stable jobs/income. I just need to understand why people are in such a hurry to have children when they are still pursuing their careers or trying to finish college. What is the rush?

My boyfriend and I have been sleeping together for a while now. I know he enjoys it but his face doesn't say anything good. He looks bored and emotionless. He says that it's just his normal look. It makes me feel uncomfortable and unsatisfying. I talked to him about it and he think that I should just trust that fact that he says he likes it rather than go off of how he looks. But during sex, I can't help but see this guy who looks like he is just going through the motions. I don't know how to fix this.

Hello, I live with my boyfriend in the state of ohio. Last friday, he went to a local bar and I promised I would meet him there one hour later. When I got there, I noticed that he was talking to a lady at the bar and I just snapped. I walked over and started harassing him, calling him names, and I grabbed his shirt. He then asked for the tab so he could leave and I tried to grab it from him and then finally suceeded. When I saw a beer on there that he never drinks, I slapped him as hard as I could, and then without warning he punched me on the cheek. I was stunned and then he proceded to leave the place. Some guys started walking out behind him and I followed, the next thing I know the cops are called. My boyfriend walked home. They interviewed me for awhile, and then went to our house to arrest him. When the cops got there they didnt want to arrest him because he had a red hand mark on his face. But by law, they had to. This is now a huge mess, I can can truthfully say that hes never

I met this wonderful, handsome, sexy, smart, educated, divorced man who will not commit. He has a dating rule, (which is popular here in GA), that we don't meet each others kids, friends or family until their is a committed relationship. I kinda understand that rule, but then I don't. We met 10 months ago and all we have in common is sex. We both have expressed many many times how much we adore each other blah blah blah. He sends me instant messages and text messages weekly, and stays in touch at least once a week. Because he won't take me out in public, because he won't talk about his personal life with me, because this and that, I have tried to break it off with him three times. He won't let go. His excuse is that since his ex-wife cheated on him while he was away at work (he works out of the country), he is going to wait until he gets a job at home making a salary he is happy with. Give me a break. I'm not his ex-wife. I want him in my life, but I'm frustraded. Help.

I have this female college professor who keeps looking at me and she is very attractive! She sometimes drops a small hint of flirty behavior. Whenever I see her walking around campus... she ALWAYS waves hello with a smile and make small talk. Whenever I see her in class lectures... she always look my way and smiles. She doesn't do this to any other students because I have kept a sharp eye on her for 2 years! Plus she isn't married.

However, would it be out of my league to date a female college professor? Could this cost her to lose her job? Could this cost me to lose my college degree?

Or should I take her flirty signals as a way to have fun but still keep my distance because she needs to keep her job in order to live?
