You cannot make someone commit to you no matter how nice or wonderful you may be. A commitment should be a mutual two person agreement-you cannot force it, or make it happen. Just be happy that you are doing all that you can and be proud if that. If it doesn't work then it seems like there will be plenty of people willing to share your feelings

No one say's they want you as there life partner until a proposal, now maby I want you as my Boyfriend/girlfied sure , dont rush it. And if you couldnt seal with the commitment of just an intamate relationship you should not have been sleeping with him, regardless I dont think people should sleep with one another unless they are emotionally, physically and mentally prepaird for a relationship and it's rocky adventures. Besides, if he dosnt come around sooner or later then " from ex to next"!!!

It seems to me that he is just using you. I know that sounds really harsh but it just seems like he is calling on you when he wants something and then doesn't want to commit to things. The only other explanation I would be able to come up with is maybe he just has trust issues and doesn't want to lose you as a person. People argue more when they are involved with other people and he may just be scared that you guys will drift apart. I can't figure out his motives since I don't really know him but you could if you really set your mind to it. Don't let love blind you and make sure you don't go past your instinct. Good luck

You need to see if he's the one you actually want to be with. If he's got committment issues then ask him why he does. He may b/c he's not ready for a committment yet or he just wants to have fun and not worry about a committment ever. If it's the latter of the two questions, then he's not worth your time. He can love you, but not want a committment. You two need to talk and tell him what you want and ask him what he wants and go from there. Good luck!!

Why should he commit. He is getting what he wants without being tied down. I would say tell him you either want something more permanent(if that is what you truly want) or want him to move on. You might tell him you love him and see if he is willing to reciprocate that love. I would not do this while you are in the bedroom. He would say anything to get what he wants. Good luck.

I think You should try to find out what is the exact problem with him. There colud be two possiblities, one is that he is just taking advantage if you and the other is maybe he has some real problem like family pressure or career issue.I suggest find out the real cause for it before taking any dicission...

He's a guy, they never seem to commit, especially when they get sex whenever they want it. Don't have sex with him anymore, then see what happens. If he really likes you or loves you, he will show you respect and then maybe commit. If not, well its time to move on and start looking for someone else.

He is either using you for sex, or he is not ready ot settle down, if he is not dating other people then I can't imaging why he would put it off. He might have relationship issues.
If you are HAPPY with him, why are you worried about the societal pressures of getting a piece of paper?
He is either good for you or isn't. The paper does not keep him from leaving.

Yup; you are a great piece of a*s now, but he does not want you to be his wife. You should try to force the issue if this is what you want. Be warned though, he will likely move on to the next piece of a*s.
