I'm 20 and he is 18. We're 2 years a a couple months apart. He is amazing and more mature than most older men I've dated and he treats me well as a friend. I want more and so does he. Does age difference matter at this age?

Two years is nothing; at that age you should have a lot in common. Go for it.

No sweetie age doesn't matter. I use to think like you a few months ago. A couple months ago i met this guy he's 25yrs and i'm 27yrs the age diff. bothered me a little but then i realised that he's mature, sweet and treats me better than my past bf did (who is 11yrs. older than me) and honestly, things are good with us. Age is just a number (thats what some people say). As long they are 18yrs. and over that is.

It's only 2 years and if you really like him, then go for it, l don't see what the problem is in your case. I've dated guys that were 3 years younger than me. Age doesn't matter, mentality and character do.
Good luck to you

relies upon. there is relatively some difference between "18 and 26" as against "28 and 36" or "38 and 40 six". The older you get, the less it concerns. yet in the late young ones and early 1920s, the existence stories, adulthood ranges, and expectancies are lots distinct between somebody who's 17-18 and somebody who's 25-26. it truly is to not say it can not artwork, even nonetheless it truly is harder. whilst i replaced into 17 I dated somebody who replaced into 25. We lasted 5 years. I nevertheless had way too lots growing to be as much as do. i'm now 35 and married to a guy who's 40 4, and the age difference is quite lots immaterial.

Go for it. As long as he's not a minor you have nothing to worry about. One thing that might be a drag is that when you turn 21 he'll only be 19 and you might not be able to go to the same places but if you really love each other it will work out. Age ain't nothin but a number.

A) You are both legal and B) You sound like you are happy with this man and it is possible *albeit rare* to have a younger man act more mature than other guys older than him. I say age in this matter means nothing

No, it doesn't matter at all. I know people with 10-15 years of difference and they make it work. 2 years is nothing. The fact that you're older should not bother you at all!

No. I'm 28 I've dated girls that were 18, 40, 33, 28, 24, 44 etc. Age is just a number.

Not that much. If either of you are seeking higher education (e.g., college), you both would be entering that arena where the average ages of students are 18-22. So any difference in age at this point in time is negligible.
