i've been married to a marine for a little over a year... but we've only spent about 90 nonconsecuative days together bc of training for deployment and then the actual 6 month deployment. as most couples do post deployment, we got along for 2 weeks and started arguing. (we argued quite frequently before he deployed as well.) we always have made up... no matter how bad the fight.. and i admit to slapping him in the past. today though, he went as far as punching me in the leg (full force, leaving a painful welt) and he twisted my arm back threateing to break it if i touched him. (i had slapped him right before he punched me bc of the things he had said to me, and slapped him again after punching my thigh)... after trying to squeeze my hand tight to try to get the car keys from me, he stormed off to the store when i screamed out of pain. i called the cops and had him arressted for punching me.. he told the cops i slapped him and left out the part about him hitting me (go figure)...

Why the rush ? Why not allow himself respectable transition time first, time for reflection, divorce, . . . then date ? Why would a man think a single woman would want to be around a man who is transitioning through a divorce ? If it's just for the company to help himself through the divorce, is'nt that selfish ? Really wondering.

ok, my best guy friend just confessed to me that he likes me by email. he said he was always scared to tell me. i have known him for a year and a half, and i had a crush on before, but then i thought he just liked me as a friend, so i kept it as that. now, he told me that he likes me, and he caught me off guard. he had told my friends before that he likes me just as a friend because they asked him if he liked me. i thought i had feelings for this other guy friend of mine, which i've known for a while now, but when my best friend confessed this to me, my feelings for my other guy friend aren't so secure. i don't know if this is normal, and i don't know what to do. how do i know if i like my best friend as more than a friend, or just as a friend? and how do i know if i like my best friend or the other friend more? i think im just confused. when i spend time with my best friend, i think i like him, but when i spend time with my other friend, then i think i like him. is that even possible?

What should I do??? I am a really caring guy and there is this girl I like, We are both sophmores and have known each other a long time and we both know we like each other. She is mostly "anti touch " she was when I met her and for alittle while after. but we have grown closer and i really like her, but I think she will not like to hold hands or hug, and I respect her so I don't. even though I am a more touchy kind of guy. and I mean with everybody I always love hugs any time from most anyone.SO WHAT SHOULD i DO TO GROW CLOSTER IN OUR RELATIONSHIP. and I want mature answers, and please do not mention sex I am saving that for marraige.

I have long hair that I straighten that involves a fringe, girls say that they like that. I'm frustrated! The guy I like just wants 2 be friends, but I'm 100% through the roof atracted 2 him. If we're just going 2 be friends, I'm going 2 have a hard time looking at him with a straight face. I keep wanting 2 smile, giggle and play with his hair for some reason. I can't help but smile in this head-in-the-clouds kind of way with stars in my eyes. I have a huge weekness for men with his type of features & they seem to be hard to find for some reason. I've tried 2 imagine him as someone I'm not atracted to, but that's not working at all. He did give me his number, but I don't think he gave it 2 me so that I could ask him out on a date. I think he gave it 2 me in case I needed him 2 help me with something. He has my number too. I've called him once so far and we had a decent conversation and all, but that was the only time. I'm not sure what his scedual is like so I'm not sure when a good time would be 2 call him. What're some things that I/we could do that wouldn't be a "date"?

ok theres a girl and i think she likes me but well just listen...
we were at the mall and every now and then she would walk in front of me and then she would stop and i would bump into her (in kinda of a sexual way) and then she would look at me in a way (kinda hard to explain) and then we would flirt (to piece you in i had a gf we broke up recently tho) and then we would do silly things like that but sometimes she wouldnt even act interested so im kinda confused she looked at my lips once but there were to many ppl around... also keep in consideration that we had family there too... a little bit older than us....

Most females I meet these days seem to want one sided relationship where I contact them and arrange things and they never reply. I ring them but they never ring me. I even leave messages and never get replies. Is it worth going out with a female who never makes an effort to contact me? If I do how long should I put up with this sort of treatment? To me it says the female is not interested.

my guy is gone for a week and gets back on new years. im kinda missing him but im mostly just missing the sex. when he left he kept saying that hed miss me and i didnt say it back at first but i thought it would make him feel bad if i didnt. was that wrong? cuz he asked if i was just saying that and i wasnt really. i didnt know if i would miss him or not and i didnt want to jus say that. but now hes gone and i pretty much jus miss the sex. so is it worth it to keep a relationship with this guy when im not there yet to miss him or to care about him as much as he does me? i dont think im leading him on cuz i told him that it takes me a while to get used to sm1 but its been 3months and im still not there. should i end it?

All the boys I know in California are assholes. I'm considered an "emo" (ALTHOUGH I AM NOT!) but I prefer boys who are in bands but still have good morals, blahblahblah. He is a very good looking boy, and the girls seem to go crazy over him, but he is quiet and doesnt seem to be interested. He is not gay. He likes the girls, but has never even kissed one as far as I know. Should I just stay out of his business? We pretty much raised each other. He has a sister who is polar opposite.
Will he be a late bloomer? Can I do anything other than stay out of his personal business?

Nowadays women are becoming more and more independent (which I dig). But ever since this girl Im interested in got this new job all she does is work and has no time for me. If I call she never picks up because she's at work and she gets out late, so basically we don't get to talk as much as we used to or get to see each other much. What are all your thoughts on this? There is this guy, his name is Spencer. I met him over the summer at this church thing, and we stayed friends even when it was over. I knew he liked me, even though he never admitted to it. We talked for quite a while over AIM, the phone, myspace, and even a few texts here and there. He then invited me to his sweet 16 where I met this really nice guy named Joey. Joey and I hit it off right away. Despite the fact that I knew Spencer liked me, I started to hang out with Joey because we got along great. Well, over the summer, Spencer thought I had liked him back and then when he heard his best friend and I were friends, he flipped out! Spencer got pretty upset with me and sent me this long email about his feelings for me and how he was pissed that I was "in love with" his best friend! The email scared me off pretty much, It was just too deep and serious for me. Joey and I are still friends(but nothing more) and Spence won't talk with Joey anymore. I feel bad, like I had caused this.

It seems that no one focuses on waiting until they're married especially US teenagers. Alot of tv commercials support the idea of condoms and safe sex but the only safe sex I know is not to have sex. I need some opinions.
