Singles & Dating - 20 December 2006

I have a friend and I am not sure how to tell her that she is way too old to be dating a young man. They seem to get along well; she has met his parents and siblings. He sister is the same age is she, but I think that some where the age difference will take its toll. What I feel I should do is nothing and let what nature place between them figure it out. Just want to know what other think about the situation.

I guess i have a lot of friends, but mostly aquaintances. nobody i really feel close to. I've tried strengthening my friendships, but I just can't get really close to anyone. people think I have a lot of friends, and that I'm popular and all, but I just don't know.

I met this guy in my english class this first semester of college. He started to finally talk to me around the time of thanksgiving. B4 each time our english class met, we would be in the hallway & we would talk to one another & then when class was over, we would walk out of the buliding & into the parking lot together while talking. then we finally swaped phone numbers & he called me on friday night. we had made plans 2 go out to dinner that saturday & we did. then he took off to go to atlantic city for a few days & he didn't call me while he was down there but I wasn't really expecting him to either bcuz he was busy doing his own thing, but then he finally called me on thursday night and we talked for a good half hr. (this past thursday). The problem is, I haven't heard from him since I've tried calling him but he hasn't called me back. Im kinda afraid that he is over me & doesn't care to be friends which i don't understand because we talked so much during school. what do u think?

If I stop talking, they just look at me, and look away, and they don't ask me anything. It's like they're doing me a favor talking to me. How can I make them intrigued, and interested to talk to me. After all, we are strangers, and it is slightly awkward. All suggestions welcome

theres this boy who sits at my lunch table and ever since the first day ive been sitting at that table i began liking him. The guy I've been dating for two months recently said "I love you" for the first time while we were having sex. I didn't say anything back and we didn't talk about it. Does this count? I know a lot of people say guys will say anything in the heat of the moment, but I've been with a lot of guys who never said this during sex. The ones that did I ended up having a long r/ship with. So advice from guys please, do you think he meant it or was it just the sex talking? Thanks!!!

Ok, I have decided since the only girls i can get in high school are going to be ugly and fat. Btw, I'm not really ugly in the face. I'm just not muscley like the women want me to be. Anyways, due to the fact that those are the only type of girls i can get I have decided that I should go after girls who are muscley. It's better than getting fat girls and you can actually appreciate something in their body, but I have 2 problems. 1) I don't know if i can actually find these type of girls at my age (18) and 2) I am afraid it might make me turn gay. Please help solve problems 1 and 2. And also, what do you think?

I plan to buy her other stuff, but I'm just wondering generally as another gift if it would be OK to get some gift vouchers to spend in her favourite clothes shop. I know vouchers don't say "I love you" like other stuff, but I am gonna get other stuff too. What do you think? It shows that I know her favourite shop, right?

I am currently "seeing" someone I met online. Previously, we met in a public place to just talk (which we did for hours). Since then we talk daily by phone, or through IM's. "D", invited me to his home just to hang out and I plan on going friday evening. I want to tell someone I am going, but have not told my trusted friends or family the details of how I met him just out of embarrassement of how I met him. I felt safe around him and am not scared to meet him, but I have been told by my friends b/c they think I trust men too much anyway ! (My grandmother always had a saying that as a woman you shouldn't be alone with a man unless your ready to have sex with him) so I do not worry about being raped either. Should I just go and have a great time without worry. I have done a background check on him and he turns up clean. We seem to have alot in common and I like him, do I need precaution now and if so what ?

So its that time of the year and me and my girl do a little early gift exchange right. Well I got her Mike in Brazil p o r n collection and she got mad and throw a fit. She then tossed out my Britney Spears Live action with the contracting mouth blow up doll.
