go for it but think first. i was with my last boyfriend for 9 months but we did not go out or even talk because we were both so shy. the only reason we went out for so long is we were too shy to breakup. if you think you might end up like this i do not suggest you ask him, because that kind of relationship is awful!

When I got my first bf we had know each other for a while and ended up making each other guess that it was the other person they liked. We been dating for all most a month now and it's great. Just tell him how you feel. If you both know you like each other than you shouldn't let shyness stop you. Be bold and make a move in stead of shying away. In the end things will turn out I Promise!

Why not? If you both like each other, then you might as well be together! I think he might be relieved that you made the first move since he seems to shy to do it himself.

I had a boyfriend once that was so shy ,he never touched me and i was very shy also,i wanted sex very badly but it never worked out.we never touched or kissed.I think you should make the first move or else nothing will happen.Once you start,he'll do the rest.Try it.

have one of your friend make the connection by having a group thing with equal number of gender of both sex. let your friend know what's going on so you can more time alone.Then ,throw a bone at him to see how he reacts. If he bites it , make your move
