Singles & Dating - 18 November 2006

My boyfriend broke up with me Thursday evening. That is a pain that can only be experienced. I thought I was going to die. The very next day (yesterday) he sent me a message on MySpace apologizing and asking if we could try again.

He left me a shell of what I was. He left our relationship a shell of what it was. How do I put the pieces back together? I want to give him a second chance. Everyone deserves a second chance. I don't want to go back into this angry, bitter, or having any hatred towards him. How can I get past these feelings. The first feelings were confusion, rejection, just the total feeling of losing your love. After a while, anger and bitterness set in, and since the message yesterday, the anger was even worse.

How can I get past this so we can try to get back what we had? I'm willing to do what it takes. In fact, I was willing before he broke up with me, he just didn't give me that chance.

Please give me some advice.

heres the deal i really like this boy so a friend told him i think hes cute. Then shes like do you like her and would you ever go out with her hes like ya. Then i decided for my friend to ask him out for me i was going to do it personal but then got to shy to do it . Hes like i dont know and guess it turns out his best friend likes me to but he hasnt told me a answer yet. I met him at a party. He didn't talk to any other girl, just me. I really like him, he's 20 years old and I'm 17. We've gone out several times on a double date and he's called me a few times too. But when I call him he always says he'll call me back but he never does. When we're together he's really sweet but we really haven't been able to open up to each other. He considers himself a "THUG", and I'm scared that when he's not talking to me or when he's at a party he's making his move on another girl. He's told me before that if he liked someone else, he wouldn't be talking to me, and the few times that he does call, he says it because," he was thinking about me and he really missed me." But I just can't believe him! Am I making too much of this? Should I stop being paranoid or should I just give up on him?

We broke up b/c of problems and i had slept with another guy and then he didn't want me back and then he went out and slept with 2 other girls (one of them used to be my old friend, but he met her before me) now he wants me back and one of the girls is his now roommate and he said that he wants to be with me but he said he's still going to be friends with both of the girls and they'd be coming over to hang out and stuff. intrusive!!!!
there is a girl who keeps pushing herself on my man. im a female so obviously i know how girls can be. he does not see it, he sees it as her just being nice and friendly. I think not.

this weekend he was going to battle of the bands with his family. they had one spot left in the car. she basically invited herself. his mom absolutely objected to her coming but he and his brother felt too bad to tell her no. i can understand that. HOWEVER my issue now is with her.

I want to know why the hell she would invite herself on a trip with my man and his family? does she not understand that if anyone was gonna go it should be one of his best friends or his girl!!!

who the hell does she think she is? dont you all think her place in his life should be commom knowledge? shes a nobody on the scale. hes just too afraid to tell her. should i?

About three weeks ago my boyfriend broke up with me because I was “too” jealous of his friendship with his close friend, a girl. Five days later we got back together in the attempt to work things out. However five days after we got back together, I broke up with him because I could still no longer take the “friendship” between them. Close friends of mine and his told me that he was cheating on me with her while him and I were still together the first time and the short second time. Okay so three days after I break up with him he gets together with his close friend, that girl. However in secret and for whatever reason him and I still can’t let go of each other. We have been fooling around and what not. He stays he still loves me and I still love him, though he just doesn’t want to break the other girl’s heart so quickly. But I don’t care I just want to be with him again! So the girlfriend has become the mistress, and the mistress has become the girlfriend. Weird isn’t.

about 2 weeks ago, 2 of my male friends had took me over to a boy i had a crush on, but i had panic and started laughing and stuff, so yesterday, i was out side and saw him looking my way repeatedly "and no there was no one behind me except for the wall"...anywho, when me and one of female friends were walking up the stairs to go to our lockers i was talking about him--i was saying "oh hes so cute, did u see him, hes so sexy, his pretty green eyes-- and didnt realize that he was right in front of us until i saw his face :eek: "can u say embarrassed"

well everytime im around him i freak out, or get super excited so its apparent that he knows i like him by now...well he should...

I like my guy friend a lot. He is all I can think about...honestly. I can't concentrate on anything else and my friends are sick of it. He really likes this other girl, but it is obvious to me and all of mine and hers mutual friends that I actually like him more than she does. He knows I like him, but we r still only really good friends. It's driving me crazy....if he has to like her instead of me cant she even call him instead of making him call her?!?! It hurts to see them together or to hear her name or to see her simply because I like him too much. What can I do? How can I end the pain?
One of my friends told him I like him and since then I've admitted my jealousy of the girlhe likes. Our friends agree that I like him more than she does! Honestly? I don't think she deserves him. Just...help! And don't tell me to ask him out...he likes her, not me. thanx!

I am 16 years old. I have a 4.0 Gpa, and Most of my classes are A.P ( advanced placement) I do Cross Country, Rugby, Track, Marching Band, Student Council, and I work Part time at an office(that's where I'm at rite now LOL). I am 5'4 and 110lb. I am pretty descent looking too. I am also very fun and outgoing and a really nice person. But guys I want to be interested in me are not interested in me. I have never been asked out by a guy that I've actuallly wanted to date. I flirt back with them too but they never make the move. I feel like a total loser because when I look at all my friends they're always going out on dates or have a boyfriend. I just feel left out or that there's something wrong with me. My friends say that my standards are too high or that maybe I intimidate guys. I am not desperate for a boyfriend nor am I seeking one out, I just want to know what could possibly be wrong with me or a reason that guys don't ask me out.

My boyfriend and I are law students. This summer, we'll be getting internships wherever we can. I live in VA. He lives in MI. He says he would prefer to stay in VA this summer, but now he's also applying for jobs in MI. His ex (who he dated for 3 years) lives there. I know it's hard to find a job, and he might have to go back there, but I would be really pissed if he did go home. It would be a whole summer for him to inevitably spend with her. Is it wrong for me to be this selfish?
