Singles & Dating - 18 November 2006

There is a single Doctor that has asked me out to lunch... we both work in the same office. We are suppose to go to lunch on Wednesday, and I am not sure what to do? I really want to go, however I dont want this to mess up our working relationship!!
What should I do?

I also found out that he will be transferring to another office further away for next month.

this was said after he said that he wanted a girlfriend. we are't that close of friends. then his friend came up and said why don't you just ask her out already? he is shy, and i wonder if maybe he refering to me or just some other girl

One of my guy friends from High School who I dated the summer after my freshman year in college has called me every week about 3 or 4 times for a year and a half. We are really good friends and always have good conversations when we talk. He has known that I have liked him still since that summer but it has just never worked out for us. He came and saw me last weekend and it went really well. I plan on seeing him over Christmas break. We talk all the time and live about 3 hours from each other.

she is in colorguard and im in the band. we also both play the same instrument. she usually brings her instrument to the games and playsin the stands,bit she always decides to sit beside me. this past friday at the game, she yelled my name when i came in the band room,and put on a smile, then and at the game she took my horiscope, and rubbed perfume from the magazine on my hand. then when my other friends were trying to talk to me about something, she said "no, bill's my friend!" and started patting/stroking me on the head. also she kept asking me what was going on in the game and smiling when she talked to me. i like her, but i dont know if she likes me back.

all advice apreciated :)

we met online and sent a few emails, she invited me to a club where a show was playing . we went talked etc. she emails me just now saying "dare i say good morning?" and then says "well what are you doing, right now?" she said shes bored and hungry. i emailed back asking if she wants to get something to eat.

advice? whaat yall think'???

I met this guy in august on a night out and we got on really wlel....my best friend happened to get together with his best friend also so everything worked out well for us. We text a lot and so far have went out about 6 times (as a gorup, with me, my friend and him and his). Its been really good and Ive enjoyed his company a lot, it hasnt been anything serious though, my friend and his friend were a bit more seirous though and we basically going out. Now my friend and the otehr guy have fallen out and dont talk anymore and its as if I have to break it off with my man too, this has really bothered me as I have really started to like him. Although hes not shy, hes not very forward either but neitehr am I. He textd me & said that me and him have to get a night out by ourseleves but has yet to arrange anything. I still love her even after her confession that she cheated on me in my own bed in my own house. She is studying Law in another island now. The other day, after she found out that i sometimes check her hi5 website, she put on a picture of the Teddy bear and her in it. I remember that was my gift to her 2 years ago. We met about three years ago..the connection between us was really intense and we became really close really fast...but we were both going through some personal issues so we could never quite get it together...I had a drug addiction which caused him a lot of pain. I moved out of state and since then I have gotten my life together and we have been communicating through e mail...we haven't physically spoken in like two years. Just this week, my freind's friend (her ex and mine from a long time ago), came by. We talked a little bit and it was good seeing him. I just recently renewed my myspace, and he was the first to leave me a comment saying he felt special he was the first one to. Also just the day after he came my friend was iming him and called me a sweetheart. I kind of got the hots for him again. if this guy always seemed shy around you, and couldnt even say anything to you straight in the eye, or when he tried, he would end up blushing.. and since this guy was showing crush symtoms, you figured he would be a sophmore, (since your a freshman) even if he was tall, had a deep voice, sincere, athletic, smart, great looking, and didnt swear or cuss?

then you find out he's a senior, and he's GRADUATING next year, and the trimester is almost over, and the gym class that both of you had together, u wont have it anymore, and both of u STILL hadn't introduced yourslelf .. so u can't say each other's name to one another.. and you feel 'cheated' b/c u nvr even got a chance to make/be friends with this guy, b/c he was so uncomforatably shy around you (whose usually very upbeat and outgoing), that he made you shy aorund him... so the whole trimester was a waste, and since he was sick all the time, he made u suffer when u dont see him.. and now u don't think yull evr get a chance to talk-

My b/f and I have been together 6 months, I have 2 daughters from a previous relationship and am busy most the time...same with him he goes to school and works obsessivly.
The other night he asked me questions about what would I say if he asked to live with me, would it bother me because the place was so tiny and he would pay. I evaded answering fully then he told me he was just wondering what I would answer.
Later he asked me about apartments for rent near me and I said oh you would have to deal with children then and just said "I wont be living with you" ::note- not in a rude wway just plainly::
