It all depends on how long you were with him . acouple of weeks, just stop calling him ,you know just cut off contact with him. If he is a normal type he will get the hint . 3 to 6 months over the phone seems ok to me .6to 9 months ,says you've let it go on too long,and unfortunately in person is the only way .Just be completely honest with him and firm about it . Some guys think you are only bluffing and won't leave you alone, until you take them back.Dont fall for it ,in your heart you know it's over ,so he just has to accept it and move on.... If he gets violent call the police .

Just be blunt.......Let him know that you guys are done....but make sure you give him a reason....nothing bugs us more than not getting a reason...trust me
