she is in colorguard and im in the band. we also both play the same instrument. she usually brings her instrument to the games and playsin the stands,bit she always decides to sit beside me. this past friday at the game, she yelled my name when i came in the band room,and put on a smile, then and at the game she took my horiscope, and rubbed perfume from the magazine on my hand. then when my other friends were trying to talk to me about something, she said "no, bill's my friend!" and started patting/stroking me on the head. also she kept asking me what was going on in the game and smiling when she talked to me. i like her, but i dont know if she likes me back.

Yes, before I was old and wise, I was just as clueless as you.
She either is toying with you for her own sadistic gratification, or she's interested.
My bet is that she is interested, and you will regret your cluelessness later in life. The worst that can happen is that you are rejected by her, or, worse, impregnate her (but that won't happen cuz you're responsible young adults). The best outcome is that you will learn lots from each other. So trump up your courage and have a good time. She seems fun enough. Just do the "fun" stuff and work into a more serious relationship when and as it becomes comfortable.

OFCOURSE she likes you!!! A girl won't waste her time playing and messing with a guy she didn't like. Just go along with her little games, pay attention to her, and then maybe she'll just come out and tell you! Good Luck :)

It sounds to me like she likes you. I think you should take a chance and ask her out, you never know what she'll say until u ask.

it sorta sounds like shes flirting with you. but she also sounds like she could be overprotective or obsessive..so i probably wouldnt get into the relationship...

its obvious and definate she likes you if she giggles and plays with her hair when shes around you but even if she doesnt i would say she likes you.
