Wrong section of answers but i'll answer anyway.
In terms of the way he decided, Simon was right, Eton Road can improve significantly (Especially if Anthony knocks off all this out of tune metzo soprano rubbish, he doesn't need to, he has a lovely voice), and though performance based Robert was faultless, he has probably reached the top of his game.
However, IMO neither should have been in the bottom two, it should have been Ray and The McDonald Brothers...
I love Ray, but his performance tonight was poor, he was shouting rather than singing. The McDonald Brothers were simply awful, I would rather listen to the version of that song sang by Bill Nighy in Love Actually.
What is wrong with you Scottish (bit of a generalisation there and I apologise to those who did not vote for them) but are you all tone deaf? I know Simon is rude about them and that can make someone proud of their heritage, indignant, but those boys are exactly what they are "Wedding Singers" and will never be anything more.. There voices are fair but they have no charisma, at least Ray has oodles of that.
I would love to see the results of the phone votes published, and I would hate to have the phone bills in the next quarter of those dedicated few that just keep on voting to keep the McDonalds in.
I really don't think this will be the last we see of Robert, he has an amazing voice and is a fantastic performer.
Once again, apologies for my generalisations about the Scottish, I just can't believe we are going to be put through yet another week of the McDonalds whining.

To start with, what on Earth were Eton Road and Robert doing in last place?! Maybe Simon saw more of a future with Eton rd as they are more original and alternative and Simon could see Roberts career going the same way that Andy Abrahams did last year? I really liked both acts and thought Ray shoulda gone this wk.

Well out of the two in the sing off Eton Road should have gone - that guy with black hair who sings like an alley cat ruins that group - they wont go very far with him in the band. Personally I would like to see Ray go home - he's so not ready to be a star yet xx

For sure! I think Simon did the right thing.....for once. Robert was just to bland and generic.....Eton Road have that star quality and there is no denying that. Take care : )

tactically he did yes. both acts i think have star quality, whether you like boy bands or not i can imagine eton road gathering in popularity and staying the course for a few years.. i think robert is fab..but maybe wouldnt get the same following when in the true public arena. saying that i was most disapointed as those were my two favorite acts. ray and mcdonalds should have been in bottom two.
