Singles & Dating - 12 November 2006

I tend to frequent a coffee bar w/ a drive thru.
well about a week and a half ago i went through and they had a new bartista working.. SOOO my type
It was halloween so i was in a opera jacket and gothed up. she said how nice she thought i looked and how i should wear it everday blah blah ....
thought she was flirting but realized she could have been nice given me a customer
no problem i say bye... im out.
few days later im back- FOR COFFEE.
she is a bit more overtly flirty this time so before i pull away im like...
"quick question, exactly how many times does one have to drive thru before your number is on the back of the recipt"
her eyes get huge, then she cracks a smile & says Wow, that was pretty smooth,..... i'd say... 3 1/2 drive thrus. i say alright, then i'm out
couple days later i go through talk to her but dont mention the # thing however keep her laughing.
same thing today (3rd time since mentioned)
next time should i bring it up, let her, ask 4 a recipt, WHAT???

I think this girl is very cute and she stands out from everybody else (at least to me) I dont have any classes with her but I see her in the halls a lot and arround at lunch. I dont know any of her friends so thats not gonna help.

My boyfriend and I are very happy. We spend a lot of time together and always get along.

He said something to me which I cannot understand. His quote "I really like you a lot, but it's something I don't want to elborate on right now"

Um -- ok, does it mean that he has feelings for me (maybe even love?) and feels that it's not the "right" time to tell me?

I mean, he's always complimenting me (always) - and just last night he said that he's "so relaxed and comfortable" when he's with me.

Today, on the phone he told me that he was thinking about me quite a bit.

So, what's your opinion? Be honest... just need your opinions on this. Thanks!

My gf always begged for me to open up and I finaly do but when it comes to her she shuts me out. She wont tell me when something is wrong shes starting to shut her friends out and they think its my fault when im being shut out too. It feels like shes not all here in this relationship and when I ask her if everything is ok she just says she doesnt know and when I ask her about it she just starts using sex to shut me up and after that shes cold again. I know her mom doesnt talk to her anymore cuz she wanted to live with her dad but she wont tell me what else is going on. What is going on with her? What should I do?

If somebody your talking to/courting cancels 3 dates on you but went out on 2 other dates, do you just give up and start dating other women with no notice?

She says she likes me and can see us in a relationship, but she never gives me any real time with her, but we talk almost every day on the phone.

If you where her and knew I was dating SOMEBODY else what would you do?

Why keep turning down other girls when she isn't giving me any time with her....

i had sex with a friend. we were friends with benefits for a few weeks, but he said i was getting too close. now, admittedly, i do like him as more than a friend. but i would never push him into something. we are friends again, but had some adjustment aurguments because of the intimacy we once shared. i asked him if the sex was bad or something, and he said 'no, the sex was great, but i only think of you as a friend.' i said 'i know that, i never asked for promises, just a date when you're ready.'

now he doesn't want to touch me or hug me or anything. i asked him what the other girls he is talking to have that i don't and he said he had more in common with them because they have children, like he does. he said 'i do love you as a friend, even like a sister...' which seriously freaked me out.

i never thought a GUY would go akward in these situations.

was the sex bad for him, and he is just lying? or did he think he could devlop some feelings and decided to back off? or did he just lose interest because of these other girls?

i have been talking to this guy for about 5 months and i am really into him. i have told him i feel, but when i asked him how he feel's about me he told me that he is not wanting to tell me cause he is not ready too. i understand that i can deal with that but the thing that i cant deal with is that when we talk on the phone he well say i got to get off the phone i'll call you back. well like two hours go by and he dosent then i call him and he dosent answer the phone so what should i think.

my bf stays with me and he told me he was going to give me some money on the bills. well a whole week went by and nothing. i know he has it in the bank too. he also seen where i was struggling a little also. well as soon as i started acting like the relationship needs to be over then he says he will give me the money tommorrow. he knows i like to go ahead and pay the bills. why was he holding off so long. and he didnt forget either. he has done this before. its like he wants me to argue or beg for the money. he should pay cause he stays here too. should i just break up with him cause i have had this conversation before. he is 43 years old and knows better. i rather just not except the money and just tell him to leave. its too stressful asking someone over and over to pay their share when they know they should. is this a sign of control ?what do you think?

Not too long ago, my significant other of 5 years left me. There were few to no warning signs that she wasn't happy, and she only expressed very strong feelings of commitment and love. Afterwards, she's said she wanted to be friends, etc. etc., but now she's the ice queen. I had just gotten a message from her recently right before the break up saying she missed me and loved me, but a week later she says she feels nothing. She didn't have any why's as to break up and without reason has resorted to saying "i don't love you, get over it" in just a few days. Ladies, I know you don't all do this, but if you can shed some light on this, it'd sure help.

All the signs are there for him to like me, he always smiles at me and looks into my eyes, he watches me walk away. But when I told him that I liked him he said he doesn't want a relationship at the moment. He didn't say wether he did or did not like me. So I thought this meant he doesn't like me. Okay..well I seeingthis guy for a few months, and one night, he caled for me to come over and hang out...so I ended up drinking alot, and I don't drink so my judgement was definetly not there...so the guy asks me what would I do if I got preganant by him...and I said it doens;t matter cause that;'s not going to happen, so when we got in the moment, again I was really drunk, I kept teeling him to wear a condom and he refused , and we had sex without a condom, I know it was mistake, I do know it was not responsible, and this is the only guy I have been with, so I'm not a hoe, but why would someone be so stupid that..what do you think?

We are completely perfect for each other, but we've been off and on for the last six months. We've both put each other through a lot. Many of the things he's done shouldn't be forgiven-like he's left me for another girl TWICE (different girls). But he was a friend before a boyfriend, and we were perfect. When we were good, we were, good. It's hard to explain, but just the way we talked to each other. It wasn't love, but it was close. He left me for someone else, and I think he might try to get back together with me soon (judging by his normal dating patterns). I hate being his rebound, but there are times when I know that I am so much more to him than that. I wish I could just screen his calls and pretend like he doesn't exist, but everytime he calls me I find myself running to the phone, waiting the customary two rings, and then picking up.
