Not too long ago, my significant other of 5 years left me. There were few to no warning signs that she wasn't happy, and she only expressed very strong feelings of commitment and love. Afterwards, she's said she wanted to be friends, etc. etc., but now she's the ice queen. I had just gotten a message from her recently right before the break up saying she missed me and loved me, but a week later she says she feels nothing. She didn't have any why's as to break up and without reason has resorted to saying "i don't love you, get over it" in just a few days. Ladies, I know you don't all do this, but if you can shed some light on this, it'd sure help.

I didn't leave any details out. I never cheated on her, looked around. She had my full attention span. And I was willing to commit too.

Hi Che, The way you ask the question with all the information, You both sounded like a happy couple. I don't think you did anything wrong,(if you didn't leave something out). She is very confused about her love for you,or she has found someone else to replace you. It's one or the other. I would find a nice girl who know's what her feeling are. That way you don't have to go through this again. Your right us girls don't all do this.I have a old man and i would never do this to him. Good Luck My Friend.

wow...my boyfriend just did that same exact thing to me. i think people just do things and at the time we do not understand why. what's meant to be will always find a way. cliché, i know...but it's true. and same if it's not meant to be...ya know? she probably didn't mean to hurt you. just thought this question was very ironic..

everything takes time to get over. i know it hurts, and makes no sense, and really isn't fair. but in the future, you will know why it happened and everything will work out the way it should =] hang in there..

Hi. I'm Ashley. I'm gay. Thank God I don't have to put up with what you've gone through with women.

maybe she wanted to get married, and you didn't want to or didn't ask her, and she was tired of waiting for you?
