I think this girl is very cute and she stands out from everybody else (at least to me) I dont have any classes with her but I see her in the halls a lot and arround at lunch. I dont know any of her friends so thats not gonna help.

Mm, this is a really tough one. I'd say ask her out regardless of whether you know each other or not. Like, somewhere simple and non-threatening so it doesn't feel like a date. Tell her you've seen her in the halls and she seems like an interesting person.

But that only MIGHT work. A better idea would be to wait and try to make some of the friends she has. You just asking her to go somewhere out of the blue may work out well, but it may end up disastously, too. If you want the safe route, go with my second suggestion, but if she seems openminded, go with the first.
