All the signs are there for him to like me, he always smiles at me and looks into my eyes, he watches me walk away. But when I told him that I liked him he said he doesn't want a relationship at the moment. He didn't say wether he did or did not like me. So I thought this meant he doesn't like me. The signs are still there though.... If he didn't like me wouldn't he just say so? And if he did like me wouldn't he say that he likes me and just doesn't want a relationship at the moment

I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a girlfriend at the moment. He doesn't talk to many girls much. At the moment we are just friends but not really close

he is probably a coward. and you need to challenge him. Try to see if he would help with with something that only a man traditionally would do. Or just start paying attention to other men

My situation is very similar to yours...I'm afraid that the only real answer here is that this guy is being selfish, greedy, and sending himself on a little ego trip...if this guy is anything like the one I know, then he's probably seeing other girls as well. The real question is whether or not you will be prepared to let him in after a few years when he grows up and realizes that he was too immature to handle such a beautiful and intelligent girl. Right now, you should stop feeding his ego, pull the stops on the flirting and let him know that if you two aren't together, you won't have any of it. Friendship, excluding "benefits", is all you are willing to offer if he doesn't want to date because trust me, you WILL feel like crap afterwards.
