ok so i had to let go of someone I love dearly and been with for two and a half years because i felt that i could not make her happy in the long run. My mind told me to let her go because it was the most sensible thing to do because i truley dont want to hurt her because i do love her, she's moving on with her life now (with somebody as i type this) but ironically I cant let go because i love her, it hurts like hell and yes it's all my doing.

usually i was under the impression that most girls will wait a while before they do it. My current gf initiated it after a month, and in some ways now i feel that it's clouded the whole getting to know someone phase. What are your opinions?

My old girlfriend from 9th grade wants to go back out with me. We broke up because of pressure from friends. I can't believe i gave her up because of a bunch of my stupid friends advice. I'm afraid even if I shouldn't, i will anyways, because it is so hard to resist her.

ok..heres the deal...me and this girl met...we were STRICTALLY just friends....she is 14 and i am 18...the more we talked the more we fell fond of each other untill it reached the point to where now...we r in love... ur prolly thinking shes to young and immature!..well...a few weeks ago while she was out with her friends, another 18 y/o guy comes up and starts hitting on her...by this time ur prolly wondering how she looks or how mature she really is....but this guy was sad to find out that she was indeed 14 and not 17 or 18 like he had first instagated... she is very mature!...and a very smart girl...i honestly love everything about her...and am not going to rush into ANYTHING as i am a christian...patients is what we have and what we need...so no...we arent going to be out haveing sex...thats not right in itself to even have premarital sex...i jus love spending time with her..and her parents both really like me...so really...its not wrg at all for us to be talking....right!?!?!?!?

My boyfriend is a loser right now. He has no car, no job, no house...nothing. He is 23 years old. He is always talking about how he is gonna do big things but he is doing nothing with himself. He is in school but he won't graduate any time soon (if he does graduate). I know you are wondering why am i even with him...but the truth is... i love this guy. I have know him since high school and we just click. I'm just scared of what the future holds. Lately he has been talking about marriage and kids. I want to be married to a guy that i can depend on and that I can be proud of. I don't want the father of my children to be a weed-smoking loser. Is there any chance that he will turn someone I don't have to be scared to marry?

So, the date went alright, there were few pauses here and there. But i had fun. The only thing it was bothering me was that he kept asking me if i am bored or is he boring? I thought hmm.. did i give him an impression that i feel bored?
The date went bad at the end when he decided to join his friends cus they spoke in another language. I felt so left out when they were talking and walking in a park. Eventually i started to walk on my own. He came up and asked me what's wrong and why i didn't walk with him. But i felt very bad at that point and i told him everything was alright.

At the end of the day, he decided to drive his female friend (married) home after he dropped me off. I told him to call me and he said ok. But he haven't called me yet even after one day....and i am losing hopes.....

I am a single mom who had a child at a relatively young. Since then I have always been in serious long relationships (ranging from 2-3 years each). Now I am 30 and single. I feel like I never developed the skills to be alone emotionally. How long will it take for me to stop feeling this way? I don't want to get into another relationship right now because I feel I need to go through this to be stronger.

i dated this girl in highschool who was a real good friend for a long time i thought at the time it may have been dumb for us to start dating but anyways, we dated all the way up to the end of summer of grad 12 and whenever we went anywhere she would flirt with any guy who showed any intrest in her. She cheated on me once that i knew of and again that i didn't find about untill way later. anyways we broke up because she went to school. and in the summer we got back together, we go to the same school now and things are so much differant she always make sure i know she is with me and me only. but i bring up the past sometimes and make her cry cause i wont let it go. should i forgive her , im so in love with this girl and she has changed so much, every day she tries to make up for her past but i wont let her. we are 20 now and i think one day she might be the girl for me. but should i just completly let the past go if she has complely changed .

Recently she rings me up and is crying over the phone because she had a major fight with her parents about moving out. I could barely even make out what she was saying, and she ends up saying she needs time and hangs up on me...........i tell her i'm there for her if she feels like talking later on but she replies that she doesn't want to talk. It seems in my 24 years of living, that the "bad" type of guy gets all the girls, yet the good type of guy gets stuck with the poo poo end of the shaft. Yet, the good guy is there to listen, cope, and deal with the girl when the bad guy cheated on her or did something that caused a big fight or breakup. Then, when the girl's confidence is boosted back up by the good guy, she goes right back and picks up another bad dude....WTF????!!??

Okay, here goes ..
I met a guy, great guy btw ... he asked me on a first date, it went great and he kissed me. So, he asked for 2nd date ... and it went extremely well. In fact, he stayed over night at my apartment (on the couch though after serious make out session and cuddling). But anyway, he stayed overnight at my place and stayed all day today (he actually just left ... his place is like one hour away). Well, the make out session turn out to be ... almost sex session (ya' know ... everything else but intercourse). He said he'll call again and definitely going to see each other again. I do not want to go all the way with him just yet the next time we're together, because I think I want to know him more and just maybe have a relationship (more than sex) with him. So, how do I tell him that I think he's hot and I do want to have sex with him but just not quite yet without pushing him away? I don't usually give up so quickly (2 month rule) but with him is so different! Help?
