It seems in my 24 years of living, that the "bad" type of guy gets all the girls, yet the good type of guy gets stuck with the poo poo end of the shaft. Yet, the good guy is there to listen, cope, and deal with the girl when the bad guy cheated on her or did something that caused a big fight or breakup. Then, when the girl's confidence is boosted back up by the good guy, she goes right back and picks up another bad dude....WTF????!!??

Simple, 'bad' types have confidence. They're bastards, but they are confident bastards, who actually ask the girls out, rather than waiting for the girls to ask them out.
Girls like emotional support. However, girls do not always assume that this emotional support is connected to interest on the part of the supporter.
If they did, they'd either get the hell away from said supporter, (no one likes an emotional manipulator), or just use him and ditch him at the first opportunity.
See, before you start listening, coping, and dealing with a depressed girl, if you are interested in her, tell her so.
Let her know that when she's feeling better, you are interested in possibly dating her, but there are no strings attached.
Then listen, cope, etc. Be a friend. Be absolutely clear that there are NO strings attached.
When she's feeling better, simply let her know that when she is ready to date again, if she is interested, then you would like to take her on a date. If she's not, that's all right too. You will move on.
Alternatively, you might consider asking someone out who isn't emotionally fragile. Try it sometime, just for a lark. Go to a public gathering place. Locate someone who seems somewhat alone, approach them, and strike up a conversation, ask them to dance, ask to buy them a drink, etc. At some point during the conversation, dance, drink, or at the end of it, ask for their phone number. Call said number within 1-3 days, and ask them out on a date.
Have confidence, be clean and groomed, wear reasonably well fitting and intact clothing, depending on your fashion scene.
Do not obsess over your faults, and be very aware of your good qualities. Be sure to have one or two subjects for possible conversations available, ones that have universal interest, such as films, news items, or opinions.

By "poo poo at the end of the shaft" do you mean less atractive girls? If so, some girls aparently need drama in there life. Don't ask me why, cause im on your side of the boat. Those type of girls (while smoking hot) don't have the mental capacity to understand compasion and long-term commitment, so, let them have there afairs and children while you find a smart, none-impulsive hunny to spend time with.

the young girls that you are talking about are attracted to bad guys because they are exciting. the bad guys offer thrill and danger. but hey don't worry, once these same girls get knocked up and that bad guy is in prison, they would love to date a good guy. this unfortunately, makes good guys upset and then we feel betrayed ( like we were picked last, because we were) and we treat these women like doo doo and and then we also drop them. the only difference is that the bad guy gets to hit it first and good guys get stuck baby sitting. take some advise, until you can change the world you might as well hit it first and let someone else babysit. you might think that I'm a bad guy, but I'm not, I'm just stuck babysitting a lot.

Girls do this for the same reasons guys do. It's for the challenge and the so-called "excitement" that these jerks bring. This excitement is always short lived. Most girls who do this will one day wake up and realize that good guys are the better guys, but they will obviously learn this the hard way. Why are you going for these types of girls anyway?

Yah..I'd have to say WTF too lol. Bad boys have this 'personalities' and 'attitudes' nice guys don't have. It is very discouraging, but hey....I totally believe this bad boys crave is just a temporary..just a fling. Eventually girls well...women will go back to the nice ones. It's just that excitement you've got when hanging with those bad seeds. What can I say? I am having this same problem. Maybe I am that kinda gal you don't like...

I think there is alot to this question. One thing though is that bad dudes appear to be confident. Really their insecurity and arrogance and obnoxiousness is simply misinterpreted as confidence. And emotionally unhealthy insecure females are drawn to this. They don't seem to have the sense to realize the truth.

We want a guy who puts his foot down, but is also as you are, listens to our problems. You will definately find the right woman one day, just don't hang around women who walk over you, and don't let anyone walk on you. We like men who know what they want.

well if your 24 ill be your friend, but yah hun it happens thatr way, why you ask, were just Pig's at times, i mean hell ive been the good guy/ bad guy in my life to, but i've never hurt a girl,i was just taught that isent cool. true people deal with problem's,not run from them let me know how it goes

They're exciting.
Good guys don't get them all worked up.
The trick is somehow being a good guy that can be unpredictable and exciting....I'm still working on it. From what I can tell, you have to act like Brad Pitt, be strong, take charge, don't take s*** from her, but still be really nice. If you cave in to everything she wants, she gets bored.

That's how it is sometimes......LOL....some girls like the bad guys, I'm a girl, and I don't like bad guys....they're just like those dogs that bark and don't bite.....these guys act tough and bad, but when it's time to show how bad they are, they just chicken out, LOL......be patient, not all girls are after bad guys!!
