If you know this misconception why dont you try to fix it so that that impression is a memory?

My biggest misconception is that I am secretly wealthy.I have been honest from the beginning,but my friends think I have a lot of money because I have a large house,and a few expensive toys in it.I am in fact not wealthy at all,I just know where,and when to buy certain things.I have built most of what I have,not go out and but the stuff!I make my own furniture,and do all of my own repairs on my house,which saves me a lot of money not hiring out for these repairs.

People are usually shocked to find out that I'm really clever and good at my job. I have an unusual look and I work in a male dominated industry so it's hard to get the old f*rts to warm to me until they talk to me and realize that I'm not just a pretty face with pink hair.. I know my sh*t too. They become my best friend when they know me but they usually take a step back on first impressions. I would never change the way I look because it's 2006 and the old dinosaurs in the trade should get up to speed... or retire.

The biggest misconception about me is because I'm a virgin and don't drink/do drugs/smoke I'm an innocent little angel that is naive and doesn't know how to stick up for herself.

Fixing it would mean that I care what people think. I don't care what people think about me. I be myself and if people like me for me then GREAT. If not, then oh well.
Oh, and to answer your question: The biggest misconception people have of me is that they think I care what they think.
