I'm in my 20s and in love with my best friend (who is a guy). We've been inseparable for about two and a half years...it's like we're dating except it's completely plutonic (no sexual stuff at all). He flirts with me like CRAZY ex. teasing, tickling, yesterday he was supposed to pick me up for something but I ended up having to work and he said "that sucks, I was really looking forward to seeing you". About a year ago I asked him why we weren't dating, and he said that he didn't want to ruin the friendship. He's dated two girls for maybe two/three weeks each in the last two years and I know he's not gay. He's a smart guy, so I'm not sure if he realizes that eventually we'll meet other ppl and not stay really close friends like we are now. I'm confused, if he loves me like he says he does, why wouldn't he want to be with me...thinking marriage. If anyone could shed some light on this for me I'd appreciate it! Thanx.

MY ex keeps calling me..its been a year and half since we broke up. my boyfriend and i just started having sex. I'm 21. All the other guys i've been with have been circumcised and my boyfriend is not. When we have sex it feels different to me. I mean idk its not a HUGE difference i guess but i definately think that i can feel the difference. Is this really because he is uncircumcised? Has anyone else experienced this?

i meet this guy in college and we hit it off really well. I was going through a divorce and he was still with his girlfriend of 6 years but was very un happy and wanted to leave her so we were kinda going through the same thing together. We started really liking eachother and got serious. it has been six months now and he is still with her because he says he dont make enough money to move out and live on his own and that I need to be patient and give him more time to get settled. I offered him to come and live with me until he got situated but then he says he will still have to pay child support and cant afford it right now so i dont know what to do. He says he loves me and wants to be with me but is stuck and cant leave his situation yet but he doesnt want to be with her and he wants to be with me and he doesnt know what to do so what do you think the best advice for me is???? Is it worth waiting any longer for?

Only my personal opinion this: It can be difficult to spend whole life with a partner from a different race as yours as there are differences in comfort levels, moral and cultural values, food habits. Is it all about curiosity factor or plain sexual attraction?

In Western societies, interracial relationships are common. However, it's a very serious issue for Adult Indian males (Unlike those from China, Japan, Korea) especially abroad, who are under society compulsions to marry within FAMILY arrangements. Marriage and spousal scenario in India is an over-complicated scheme of things if you seen Monsoon Wedding and Bride N' Prejudice.

If you are attracted interracially and want to go ahead, what ADJUSTMENTS you think you have to make in your lifestyle? I had been dating an Eastern European girl, and I'm confused about my choices. There are obvious cultural differences, and I really don't know how to resolve this dichotomy:

I hate all men but I really dont know why. I have no personal reason to, I've never been in one of those abusive controlling psycho relationships, never been cheated on, most of the men that Ive come across in my life have been really nice, genuine people. sometimes i want a bf but i feel disgusted at the thought of being intimate well unless this is weird but unless I get to dominate him? im not a feminist but I would rather be a lesbian than go anywhere near a guy. Is that normal? please dont tell me to see a shrink. I dont want to share this with anyone. when i try talking to my mom she just says concentrate on your schoolwork not boys, etc. I'm too embarrased to tell my friends.
Also when i go out i dont wear nice cute clothes, i try them on at home but I wear grey or brown or black really loose fitting clothes. I feel really ugly and unattractive sometimes.

Well, it was my girlfriends 24th birthday and we were all having a good time until she started opening up some presents. One of her friends bought her a pair of shorts. My girlfriend got kind of uncomfortable and looked at me with that "you won't mind if i wear these right?" kind of look. I just shook my head no as in she was not going to wear them. Later on, I brought the pair of shorts to her and told her that she really appreciated the gift, but that I didn't allow her to wear shorts because I think they are immodest and don't want other men staring at my girlfiend's legs. She got kind of upset and later called my girlfriend and told her to break up with me. Should I have just told my girlfriend to take the shorts back for store credit and avoided that conversation? I was just trying to be open and honest because I figured she would ask in the future why she never wore the shorts. Did I handle that right?

So I've been seeing this girl for 3 wks now and things are going great. We've been out 4-5 times and she seems really into it. But the problem is that she never contacts me first (phone, email, texts, etc?). Whenever I call her, she answers right away and we talk for about an hour, but she never calls me first. I was a little worried the gf might be losing interest (dating for @ 4-5 mos), but she has been working like a mad woman lately (2 jobs, probably 60+ hrs/wk, which concerns me a little, too) She is very proud of being very independent so I keep telling myself to just relax and let her come to me. We hit it off great, seriously unbelievably, but neither of us have much exp in the dating dept, and I know the romance has to start to simmer a little at some point. Does this sound reasonable? Any advice on trying to get her back into it or is it something I am f ing up? We had a talk the other night and she really revealed some stuff. If I plainly ask if her feelings have changed, that pretty much seals the deal regardless, doesn't it?

I talk to someone from out of state once in a while when I'm bored at work and sure she is attractive, but she wants to us to be in a 'relationship'.
