Singles & Dating - 16 September 2006

Being a Christian, I know that God will introduce me to the right person at the right time, but that could be 10, 20, 30 years from now. How can a person go that long single with no dating? It's starting to weigh on me. I haven't had a date in probably over five years now. On the one hand, I'm glad that I haven't been out one time with all these people just to have them not talk to me afterwards. I would just like some female friends and that would work. I am not neccessarily wanting to get involved, just have at least a girl or two around (not in that way people). I've tried dating sites and those are sorely disappointing. I seriously do not get any responses on those things and yes, I try to connect with people. I have met a couple people online and they end up being twice my age, four kids, three divorces and just plain basket cases. Now I am open minded and I did hang out with them for a little bit, but I was looking for more along the lines of my interests and age.

i have been seeing this guy for 2.5 years and i started talking to his friend when we broke up. I love my boyfriend but everyone says i should leave him because he has hit me and **** in the past but he is a descent guy.He works hard to take care of me.but i really like his friend a lot to i have for about 8 years or so. and i honestly think his friend would treat me better but i think i would have a better financial life with my boyfriend.

Okay let's say you had just met a girl and you found interest in her and you was thinking of asking her out....Well you asked her and she accepted your invitation for dinner...You two had dinner,it went great and both of you planned for another meeting...As time passed lets say 4more days at the most...

You and her had know each other no more then a week..And she started with all this "Oh I want you and I need you,you turn me on,etc......Whould you find that attractive and think that you would enjoy being with a girl like that because think....................................

If it has only been a week and she is so free willing to give that to you so easily then,who is to say that she wouldnt just any guy...

I try to put myself into a guys postion before I asked this question and I felt like I wouldn't like that because...I would want someone that doesnt want to be with everyone..

So main question is.....Being easy,is that attractive to you?

I was taking a trip and was on riding the train one night, there was barley anybody on the train..maybe like 2 or three older people. And this lady sat in front of me. She wasn't a typical kind of sexy..she was real sex in a unique way. I liked the way she looked, she was far from the ladies im usually attracted to. Man, this shorty's complexion was soo dark, I mean real dark..but she was dark and lovely, her skin was smooth and her eyes were dreamy. She looked real exotic. She had like afrocentric features...Im usually attracted to the opposite. But it was something about her. ..She had my full attention! Her body looked like art. When she sat down in fron tof me, she smiled..her smile had me caught yo. She begin to look me from my head to my toes, and she started biting and licking her lips. After about five minutes of us smilling and starin at eachother, she scooted closer to me and spread her legs..my legs were in between hers. she then started rubbing her ...im outta room..lol

ive been in a bad relationship for two yrs. i knew the bastard was no good and i still kept going back for more of those fu.ked sessions. i dont have low self esteem. i just wanted something to work. the sad part is i knew all the warning signs and some of it was done right in my face. now the jackass is walking aroungd like i did something to him. as of now i cant stand the bla.k monkey. how do i get this sh.t out of my head. im mad at myself for letting this go on as i did. the other sad part is we had a nasty breakup and i let the monkey come back again before this last breakup. how can i start over again and honestly forgive myself and get all this poison out of my system and move on. why are men such sh..tty people at times. im so hurt and mad and upset. at the whole ordeal. i wish it would just go away. i also promised myself the next time a guy messes up i will kick him to the curb asap.

we had been together and really had no problems until he thought his friends and drinking were more important...thats when i just let go. This has slowly been going downhill and i think i found someone who i at least think is attractive and like being flirty with. i really just need someone outside of my head to help me figuere this out... i'm afraid it's to early to start dating again but i want to move on..

My friend's a really great girl - whom everyone sees as having no temper, sweet, pretty and really smart. She's broken up with this guy about two years ago. Now the guy is hitting on me and honestly, I am kind of interested. He has a good career and makes me laugh when I am with him. But I'm afraid of taking things further. I mean, there has to be other good reasons beyond the "not ready for marriage then" reason that led to his breakup with my friend in the first place? What should I do? I would like to be with him and at the same time, I don't dare to be with him. And please don't tell me to ask my gal friend about him -- I would feel so awkward!

We often share everything with the person we love and care about the most. From food, home, vehicle, deepest secrets, and well...who we are. Sometimes, I think we can often look too deep or not deep enough into that person we love. My fiance and I know so much about eachother, and maybe I know too much about him. He was once engaged with someone he was with for 6 years. He was honest with me in telling me he was not faithful to her numerous amount of times. I appreciate him so much for sharing these things with me, but now any time a beautiful young girl enters in our lives I have so many negative thoughts running around in my head. I don't like seeming as though I may not trust him. He hasn't done anything significantly wrong for me to not trust him. His sister and a close friend have both shared with me that they have never seen him the way he is with me towards any other girl. How do I over come this?

He cheated on her, and now has a new girlfriend. He keeps calling her and going to her house to tell her how mean I am, and that he has feelings for her. I just broke up with her because I knew they were talking and that she would only talk to him if she had feelings for him too.. SHE WAS CHEATED ON..., what girl would still talk to a guy that cheated on her unless she still had feelings. I really feel mad because her and I never got a fair chance. Should I feel upset we broke up, or say screw it because she's confused.
