I even have by no potential heard of any black individual being called a monkey or chimps!! And if I did i'd be extremely indignant and say so and that i'm white!!! So understand your annoyance thoroughly, yet any jerk that makes use of this term for any human isn't worth irritating approximately! I

Some people look at protruding lips, and wide nostrils on some people , and think of primates - The same could be said of all types of people regardless of skin color. To the best of my knowledge, chimps have straight hair, light-complected faces and thin lips, so I don't understand why anyone would think black.
There are black people that don't consider themselves bigots, yet think whites look like a combination of dogs, snakes and pigs.
I say anyone comparing other groups of people to any animal reveals a lack of psychological growth. I think it stems from negative encounters with one or more groups of people, and feeling hurt and/or fearful of said group - This tends to cause such individuals to feel powerless to do anything about those feelings, so they join various hate groups. Sadly such people never evolve beyond that point regardless of their level of formal education.
I have negative encounters with people of different physical backgrounds on occasion....I'm hurt, I'm angry, but I focus on the action of the individual rather than the physical difference. I refuse to let such weak-minded people effect my life permanently.

because some people are so ignorant they find this sort of behaviour highly amusing, it's like calling the police pigs, why? name calling usually starts in school, unfortunately, some people never grow up and instead of leaving it in the playground make it a way of life. Feel sorry for people like this, very sorry, because they are the ones needing sympathy for turning out to be pathetic little people instead of responsible human beings.

Because of the old days of Tarzan, the jungle and all the monkeys and animals. It was assumed black people were from the jungle and since the monkeys were domesticated, they were compared to black people.

I think, simply, because monkey and chimps in Africa are 'black'
and most black people come from Africa.
Does Europe have white monkeys?

Let me ask you when did you EVER see a black person eating a banana?
Seriously though, I have never heard of black people being compared to other primates. It would be inappropriate.

the origin was blacks originated from africa .africa associated with jungles ,jungles wth monkeys.its a pity that these kind of people donot know africa let alone the evolution of men. at one point in time we were all ape men imean we share the same ancestors so these name callers do not know where they came from.
