Singles & Dating - 7 August 2006

A while ago, I met a guy online. We agreed on meeting, but I soon learned that he had met someone else. I decided not to meet him after he asked me to. I just didn't reply to him.
Now I've learned he is single again. We got along very well, and I think I would like to meet him. But he rejected me the first time. So should I swallow my pride and meet him (maybe to get over him?) or should I do nothing?
All help will be greatly appreciated.

Do i go for the guy who is my age,16, or for the guy who is 3 yrs. older than me. the older guy, we've hug out a few times, and we talk on the phone and text each other, we tell each other that we miss each other. but the 16 yr. old, we've hung out more, and we've gone swimming together a few times, he asked me what i consider us, and i told him idk. i asked him, and he said pretty close to gf & bf, but we haven't done anything like 2 weeks, and i've hung out with the older guy since. which one shoud i go for? and even if the 16 yr. old and me r dateing would thid be called cheating?

I am 28 years old. I met this girl, 23 year old, three months ago and have grown in love with her in time. I have invited her a couple of times to have some coffee or eat lunch on three ocassions, only the first time she accepted. After two times of having my invitation cancelled (she had accepted both times) I decided not to pursue and called her to wish her the best in life and good-bye, a week later she left me a message at work to call her back and so I did. She revealed to me she's been a widow for six months and was afraid of entering a relationship but she wanted to continue seeing me. I have not revealed my feelings for her but I think I need to before this goes forward and grow deeper that will hurt even more. Should I?

If the answer is yes, please help me in what should I be like with her, any advice so I can make her feel more positive will be helpful, thanks.

I have been with my b/f on and off for 9 years and past events have made me lose trust in him. I have just started to gain it back and on the weekend we went out with friends. As I was standing on the road I saw him walk past a girl and slap her on the bottom (he didn't realise I could see that) - He was also sober at the time and alone. When I confronted him about it he initially denied it but then apologised. Why would he do that? Do you think he can't be trusted?

the guy am dating.....if he starts thinking of how to get in touch with me...it then i wold just call.....if he has an issue bothering him...i always easily get the solution...most times when i comment about an issue our friends confirm to me that he just said the same thing.....he just calls exactly when i want to call....

why do women find men more attractive when they're married? I get way more attentionand a lot of flirting from the opposite sex when I'm wearing my ring. Is it because women think that because a guy is married, he's harmless? Or is it because they know if anything happens it'll be just NSA? Or do they just want what they can't have? I am pretty straight forward with women. I do not go into "mack mode" when I see a woman I would like to talk to. I simply start talking. I once told a waitress she was going home with me. I asked her what time she was getting off and she told me. I dropped it at that point but I am sure she would have come with me. I was criticized by my comrades for not being smoother. What was I supposed to say? "Hey girl, you look fly in them apple bottoms, like to get all up in that." I cannot talk like that, it seems ridiculous.

I have no idea what to do right now. I met this guy a year ago, we dated for a bit, then he decided to stop calling. About a month went by, and I just got this urge to call him and we ended up starting to hang out again. Eventually we took on the boyfriend/girlfriend title, and I ended up losing my virginity to him. He would still pull the not return my phone call thing every once in awhile when he got mad at me (which was usually the result of jealousy). But overall I was really happy with him. Then out of the blue he stopped calling, emailing, seeing me. He never even broke up with me. It had been 9 months since I heard from him, then yesterday there was a message from him on my myspace page and all it had was his phone number. Do I call him? If I do what do I say? He really hurt me, I haven't really dated since, does that mean what I had with him is worth forgiving, or am I just tied to him because of losing my virginity and being unable to start any other relationships?

I have been dating this guy for almost a year. He stares at other woman so much that we have gotten into many fights. I'm not talking about a look or whatever I'm talking staring for long periods of time. When we fight he gets very defensive and blames me for being insane insecure, whatever. Well, after many fights it just came out that he needs to make eye contact with other girls to make himself feel better. Now, when I'm not in a relationship I use eye contact in an effort to flirt. So, basically he flirts with other girls through eye contact everytime we go out.

He almost had me believing that it's me and that I'm crazy. But, now that he was honest with me I understand better.

My question is this. Would you stay in a relationship like this knowing that your significant other is doing this? If it's just eye contact and a smile is this a sign he will cheat? A guys reaction would be very helpful.

I have been thinking about asking my boyfriend to move in with me for a while, but wasnt sure because I didnt want to scare him!
This weekend on the way back from a party I told him that his mates keep asking me when we are going to move in together, he replied blimey we have only been together 5 months. He then went on to say that if I asked he would move in, in a flash if I asked. Does he want me to ask?

where does a young 23yr old single mom go to meet people? I don't want to pick someone up in the bar, and I live in canton oh so minus the bar there is no where to go. Where can you meet someone?
