Test to see if a man is worth my attention?

First I use Humor. This is a tool I use to see if I'm compatible with anyone. If they can take it and dish it out without being mean and hurtful, then that is one point.

Second I watch to see how they interact with their family members and outside people such as strangers, waiters and waitresses. They need to have good communication skills and be polite with some humor. They also need to be respectful and kind.

Third, I wait to see if they will call when they say they will. Or if we make plans I keep a mental note on when they cancel, when they are late, how often, etc.

Forth, I ask if they are prejudice against people of any categories. I have a huge mix in my family! Nationality, Sexual Orientation, Age, Disability, Religion, etc. It is not worth my time if they are disrespectful and hateful towards anyone because of a category they are placed in.

Fifth I watch to see if they treat me with respect and kindness in private and out in public.

Sixth I then watch to see if he is kind and sweet with children and animals!

Might be able to help. The way women and young girls test a man can vary, it can be simple such as to see what kind of a reaction to see what you would do if they talk to other guys, hung out with their guy friends, test you to know if you are a jealous type, you except them the way they are or just using them, pretty much being a true gentlemen, even sticking up for them. This are just few a examples, hope this helps you.

Before I was married, I would not even date a guy if I couldn't have a decent ten minute conversation with him. The topic was of no importance, I was simply looking for three things: concern for others, self-repect, and an eye toward the future. Concern for others, because I despise guys who think the bigger asses they are, the more manly they are; self-respect, because a man who has self-respect will treat himself wisely (no drugs, that sort of thing); and an eye toward the future, that is, he has bigger plans for his life than getting drunk and laid every weekend, or finding a woman to play housekeeper. Ten minutes is all it takes- if you're serious about what you want, you're not afraid to play hardball to get where you want to go.

*Edit* I did get married a year ago to a fabulous man ( who passed the test, btw), so yes, this system does work and great guys do exist!

It makes no sense to test a guy. Trusting him is the No. 1 key thing.

you mean to see if he will cheat? I had someone from the Internet chat with my husband before i married him picked a picture of a woman that as a straight girl i would slept with she was hot and so his type then had her come on to him offer to meet him for no strings sex had her tell him she didn't care that he had someone no one would ever know.. He told her no so i knew from that point on if he could turn her down i could trust him.

Mr. Chivalry says, "If you have to test a guy, then trust and reliability must be shaken. Why not talk to him? Why not let him know your expectations? It'll be much easier to know where you stand with him, because it'll reveal his character."

Mr. Chivalry has spoken.
