I helped him get into an apt after Katrina(hurricane) and now he just wants to stay there mostly alone, unless his kids are there, I do see him, but usually not long, because I get that vibe when he wants to be alone. I know he is depressed and may need medication or time. I am newly divorced but dated a lot while separated, so I have met many men. I love him, but I do not know when I should go or stay and that is a horrible feeling. I do not know what to do or how to help or if I should just stay away and let him make all the first moves. I am so confused, and at this time it should be all new, not more hurt or confusion, and I do not want to dump him, but he is down all the time, and negative energy gets to me.Im 35 and he is 37, we both aren't getting any younger, yet this is his 1st place totally alone, but sometimes I feel shut out of his world and I do not want to have to push or force my way into anything. Why should I have to? What should I do?

when i ask people what nationality they are, instead of saying for example America, the place they were born, they start saying.................'well, i'm 1/4 Irish, 2/3 German, 1/5 Spanish and so on........

this confuses me! are you not a citizen of the country you were born in? hence your nationality is which ever country you were born in.

i was born in Ireland so i'm Irish, plain and simple!

can someone explain how you can be 2/3 or 1/4 of anything, and why do people have to mention it and complicate a really simple answer?

School has started back and my dad won't let me get a car because I don't have a job but he won't let me get a job because I don't have a car........ Plus my boyfriend is out of a job now so how do I get to where I need to go? (EXP. school, mom's, doctor for checkups and stuff like that)

I met a guy that I really like alot. He's got a great job, a great work ethic, and he's very cute and family oriented. Only problem is he's not ready for a girlfriend, which he told me AFTER we had sex. The problem is I really like this guy and want to date him but he only calls when he's in the mood. I end up being weak and giving in but I feel so bad about things the next day. I've tried telling him no but he's so persistant. I often ignore his calls and txt msgs, but he always finds a way of reeling me in. I really want to be strong enough to say no to this casual relationship, b/c if he's not in the market for something more I should move on, right? Or should I just get some while the gettings good?? I have torn feelings. Anyone else ever been in this situation? HELP!
