That's not a huge age difference. I think that the relationship can definitely work out with a strong foundation of friendship, similar interests and same life future goals. But beware as you get older, his and your interests may change. All good to talk about it with you partner when the relationship gets more serious, but i think it is very possible for a good relationship to develop. =D
As long as you really do love each other then there is nothing stopping you. Go for it.

I think: what's the problem? As long as they're both of legal age, and make each other happy, then age is nothing more then just a number (sometimes songs are right :) ).
Besides: women live a couple of years longer then men, so it's good to be dating an older woman: that way noone will be left behind for a long time in your old age :)

there's nothing wrong as long as you understand each other well and will not let the age gap be an issue in your relationship. i am 3 and a half years older than my husband and we have a good marriage. we have three kids. i am a full time mom and my husband is the only one working. there was a bit of adjustment at first because i am more mature but later on he keep up. so, its actually a give and take relationship. you have to be really patient with each other.

Lots of girls find teenage guys annoying as hell. It's because a lot of us are. I think you like older men because you simply haven't met any nice guys your age so your brain just moved up a bracket, so you are perfectly normal, don't worry. If anything, I'd say find the guys that don't have a lot of friends that don't really care, this usually means that they hate the majority of other guys BECAUSE they are so immature. I'm a senior now, and I've been this way since sophomore year. I have a really tight-knit circle of friends (about 6 of us), and I just can't stand anyone else in my school, so I usually just avoid them. There are plenty of mature guys my age out there, don't give up :)

I don't see nothing wrong with that. The lord sent me mind and he is about 8 years older than me. And I love him so much, just to it is going on one year a month.

If you are happy with the man stay with. Age is just a number even though it can get you in a lot of trouble.

Peace-P

Six years isn't that much but makes sure he is a mature younger guy because i've found that there is a huge difference in maturity that can become extremely annoying after a few months.

Thats probably gonna be tough unless you are both older. WOmen mature much quicker than men as it is. SO if you are both young he most likely will be immature and obnoxious, she will be more mature and calm and collected. May work though

Age makes NO difference (except maybe in EXTREME cases)

My girlfriend and I are 3 years apart (she's older) and it makes no difference...

Your basing your happiness on what society thinks. Look at what society thought about electing Bush. Which one are you happy with. If he doing right by you then work with what u got.
