Singles & Dating - 2 August 2006

Yesterday i went to visit my boyfriend at the hospital he works at. Then as I was leaving a nurse he works with told me that she will keep pursuing him once i leave for school this fall. My boyfriend is in his last year of medical school and in a couple months he will start his residency. I know once he starts he will be spending more time with her. And since I go to college 3 hours away, i wont be able to keep her away from him. How can i get her to backoff?

He comes up to my desk and tells me my clock is wrong, that sum1 looks like his boss and what is his name (LOL), ask me to look at his plant on his desk, sumtimes gets a lil red in the face when talking to me and he can't keep still, I mean there are other things but I really dun care he is cute and all but looks a lil boring . . . I am. Sometimes I love my bestfriend and want to tell her what I really feel and sometimes I don't because I think it is just a waste of time because she doesn't have any direction in life, she is a princess wannabe, and she is high maintenance. Sometimes I kinda hate the way she acts but sometimes I miss her like crazy and want to be with her so bad. There are days where I think of her all day while there are times I don't think about her at all. Any explanation about this and does this happen to you?

I have recently become very dissatisfied with the sexual aspect of my marriage. Now, I love my wife of ten + years but, she just does not have the drive to keep up with me. And when I say drive...it is more like a slow stroll that I am asking for, and I get a crippling uphill walk. I mean, I am talking once a month if I am lucky, more usual to be once every six or eight weeks. Anyways, I have considered meeting a woman for on the side action to help me stay satisfied. I know that it is wrong morally, but I wanted to hear some feedback from some women. And to be clear, I have no intentions on changing my situation. I would only meet someone if we are both in agreement that it would be a no strings attached encounter ONLY. Serious answers only please!!!

I am in love with My best friend, (She's a girl, I'm a guy). Recently we kissed when we were drunk together, but she told me the next day that we should go about it acting like it didnt happen. I finally talked to her and told her that I liked her, but she told me she didnt have the same feelings about me. Ultimately, I want to know how to get her to like me, but I know that is not possible. I want to know why. She wouldn't give me a reason, but I think there is always at least one reason.
Ladies, you can prob not pick out the reason, but is it possible that the "feelings" are just not there, but i have every other quality that she would like, or is it that she is not telling me something (i.e. shes not attracted to me, or she doesn't like a personality trait, etc.)

I feel like life is too short to be coy but I never get very good responses from men when I'm just honest about what I'm thinking or feeling. Why is that? It seems like men don't want to know the real woman. I like this guy I know from college. He is really shy in person. I used to flirt with him online when I first started talking to him but I thought I scarred him off because he didn't flirt much back. Lately he's been talking more to me online. He was blantantly flirting with me online the other night (it kinda came out of nowhere) but immediately after said that he had a girlfriend but if he didn't then something would happen (i dont know exactely what he meant). I've been with my boyfriend for three years and I know he's cheating. I've found numbers and heard him on the phone but I can let him go. He is gorgeous and I didn't diserve him in the first place.
