I am in love with My best friend, (She's a girl, I'm a guy). Recently we kissed when we were drunk together, but she told me the next day that we should go about it acting like it didnt happen. I finally talked to her and told her that I liked her, but she told me she didnt have the same feelings about me. Ultimately, I want to know how to get her to like me, but I know that is not possible. I want to know why. She wouldn't give me a reason, but I think there is always at least one reason.
Ladies, you can prob not pick out the reason, but is it possible that the "feelings" are just not there, but i have every other quality that she would like, or is it that she is not telling me something (i.e. shes not attracted to me, or she doesn't like a personality trait, etc.)

You are already friends and it seems like you have been for a while, so she most likely has affection for you. I doubt that there is anything wrong with you, or she wouldn't be your best friend. She may be afraid that if your relationship turns into something more and it doesn't work out that you will lose all that you had. It will be difficult to be 'best' friends again, as opposed to just friends, if you take your relationship to the next level and things don't work for you two. She may just want to remain friends for now, and later, who knows?

been there too my man. In my case, she just wanted to be a whore and mess aorund for a while cuz she had just broken up with her bf of 3 years. perfectly understandable , only thing is she didnt admit to that. But oh well gotta let her go but the way she handled the situation made me break up the friendship.
Women r weird and retarded many times, thay have it right there but dont take it. She might have her reasons but as a woman u will never know them dude,; u already broke the friendship barrier as well as she did with that kiss so its both your faults, at least u did have somehting real goin on and she was just havin a slutty moment and wanted fun.
My advice, at least keep her as a sexual benefit but u can start forgeting about the best friendship thing, that knock has been broken and you should start being less affectionate to her cuz she also ****** up with that kiss but didnt have the balls to attain to the consecuences, what does that tell you?? Is you best friendship to her worth it??

If she wants to act like nothing happened between you two then that's not a good sign. If she only wants to be "friends" then be friends. Don't do anything to ruin the relationship you already have. Id rather be friends with someone Im attracted to (even if they don't have the same feelings for me) then to lose them completely. At least this way you'll still have her in your life. And maybe somewhere down the road things may change in your favor.

i think may be she dont know that she like you because she is so close to you . Do an experiment, ignore her.... means dont pay much attention as you usually give her and on the same time , give importance to any her girl friend. if she feels jealous , it means your line is clear and if not let her go and find some one who really made for you.

just leave things the way they are unless she makes a move. if you an her are best friends she probably doesnt like you as more in fear that it could ruin a friendship if things didnt work out. but now she knows how you feel. the ball is in her court now. its her move not yours.

sorry to hear that. im a girl who used to have the same problem...lol. so i think she might change her mind. but think about it this way, being 'just' friends garuntees you that youll always be the one shell turn to when she does have problems. and youre not going to break up.

Unrequited love is the worst. sometimes it just isn't there you can't make someone love you. the only way is to be yourself and don't force it. I hope it works out for you.
