how many of you have deluded yourselves about a person or a relationship? have you ever tried to make yourself believe that you can turn Mr. Wrong into Mr. Right?

or made yourself believe that you can turn your bad relationship around and make it good again? make yourself believe his/her excuses eventhough you know it's a lie?

I am in a relationship with my girl friend for 8 months now . We Love each other very much . We both fight a lot but together again in a day or two. But the reason that made her doubt is that I don;tkeep promises . She is a chinese and I am an Indian but that thing doesn;t matter for me . Though the indian society it;s not so much develop which can create me toruble in marraige . specially from parents I am ready to marry her . But she still couldnt made up her mind that I am trust worthy . What should I do .? please help

I want to have a romantic night with this guy im seeing.
we both still live with our parents so its rather difficult.

She said she wants to take it one day at a time. At first she was calling me and talking to me everyday and now she won't even return my phone calls. Do you think I might have pushed too hard cause I kept telling her how I felt and wrote her letters. Is it possible I got on her nerves and now she doesn't like me? I'm so confused. well he, made me do it, when ever I saw him he made me smile , then I started to much smile at him, he understood I like him , I felt he liked me too, then he started getting really angry for no reason so I ignored him ,now he wants me to smile at him , so he started being nice I igonre him now, and now he gets even more angry
any way it aint my problem since he started being horrible to me
and I have a strange feeling that it not right ,so thats im now leaving him alone

My gf (now ex) of 6 months broke up with me 7 days ago. I believe I went through all the stages - Sad, depressed, angry and now moving on. Her call shocked me because I didn't expect her to call me ever again but she did and now I am wondering what does this mean? Could she be checking on me or could she want more?

She broke up with me because she said she wanted to focus on her daughter and her education more but I think thats bogus because a lot of single moms do that same stuff and still have boyfriends. I was very good with her and her daughter and wanted to be their for them both. I love them both but she has issues with a lot of stuff. Her last message to me last Saturday was "You are too good for me" and I have no idea what that meant. I told her I just wanted to be their for them and I would have treated them better than anyone else.
