Singles & Dating - 2 August 2006

I am a fairly average looking woman, overweight even. Not exceptionally pretty. But nearly everywhere I go I am pursued. Men follow me around, some ask me if I will date them, what is my phone number is, etc. I do not dress up or try to make myself attractive. Why is this happening? Does it happen to every girl? Should I be flattered or scared?

I have a problem ! I have an angry girlfriend consistently calling me. I met a guy while out one night we exchanged numbers and kept in touch (for better choice of words), he seemed like a good person, all of a sudden here comes the calls from the girlfriend hanging up not speaking to me the finally asking me why don't I get a man of my own I confronted him immediately and he confessed he has had a girl for a while and he didn't know how to tell me to make a long story short I stop speaking to him but the phone calls from the girlfriend has not stopped she is getting vicious. Now here is the question ? I took a picture of him luxuriating in his bed when we were together with my cell phone, he thought it was funny at the time , but I am so sick of this psycho calling me all hours and harassing me that I am tempted to tell her here is your answer and email her the pic of her man, now leave me alone go talk to him or should I do what I have been and ignore the calls

In search of yahoo friends, since my real life friends are selfish and cant seem to help me. I believe that everyone has a soulmate but my girlfriends always seem to think of themselves & when a guy comes along that would be perfect for me they snatch them up instead of thinking you know you would be great for my friend, i do it all the time i don't know how many times i have set up my friends with guys i thought would be a great match. So now i figure maybe i can meet other friends who aren't as selfish.

How come you think that all americans are alike. I remember when my one friend told me that I was different then most americans. He said that I was nicer and very respectful to people. Plus I am a virgin and that shocked him even more. The reason why I am asking is because my hubby is from india and I just wanted him andother people to know that I am very different and I don't judge. I just want people to know that.

ok my bfriends brother likes me he told me and he kissed me. @ first i was schoked but as he went on kissing me i kind of liked it. i really love my boyfriend but i coudnt help feeling this way. i told my boyfriend about the kiss but not how i felt. he got mad about the kiss, and he fought his brother.at last me and his best friend stopped them but now they dnt talk to each other and he wont leave me alone with his family (like before). if im at his house with his sister he wants to be there with us and if his brother is there he wants us to leave. i dndt wanted this problem to get this bad and ive been thinking of breaking up with my boyfriend even tough i love him. is not that i want to go out with his brother but is cuz i dnt want be the one that ruins their realtionship as brothers. can anyone give an advice? should i break up wiht him or what should i do??????!!!!!!??????

My boyfriend and I have recently entered the swinger scene. It seems good in theory but I am wondering if it will help us our hurt our relationship. I don't want to loose him but this is something he wants and I don't think our relationship is stable enough for it right now. Regardless of what I say he wants to do it anyway. I have a hard time being faithfull and this might just be a good excuse to get some unfarmiliar sex from other men with his blessing but I am afraid he will look at me as a slut or gets close to someone else. I have been with my girlfriend for just over 3 months now, and i love her very much, and i do get the feeling that she loves me back, as she is always complimentary of me, which is odd for me, as i find myself unattractive.

Well, my problem is, she is very close to her best friend, who happens to be a boy, and i cant help but think she is sleeping with him, or something equally monogomous. I just wonder, am i mega paranoid, or should i see something wrong with her spending a lot of time with this other guy.

Well, this all started in band, and well i was standing in front of him for marching cause the guard was doing really bad so we get moved to the front of the band. well then he comes up to me and when we are walking into the band room and he says are u gonna be like ur sisters and I said no. well then the next day i get his cell phone number and weve been talkin to each other, and he really likes me, and the sad thing is that he has a gf. but see he sees me more than his own gf! but weve been hanging out and everything he even told me he'll sit with me on the bus to away games and compations and stuff like that. its sad cause i can't get him out of my head and he knos that i like him. but all this week he is with his g.f at the fair. we have rehersal for band next tuesday and thats the only time ill see him from this point on cause i was asked by him and his gf to go to the fair with them and i did. ever since then ive been thinking and im not sure what move i should make next? HELP!

there's someone from work who i've been interested in for some time. like myself, she's quite shy. i tried every excuse to visit her department so that i could bump into her & talk but usually choked. last year, i finally had the courage to ask her out. unfortunately, she turned me down. though i was torn, i just let it go & left her be. about a week after that, i bumped into her in the cafeteria & we had a little chat. i asked her if she'd be interested to have coffee with me & she said yes. but when i asked her about it a few days later, oddly enough, she said she wasn't interested. i figured that i should just step away & leave her be. i only went to her department if i really had to & tried to stay away from her so that she won't feel threatened. shortly after though, i caught her a few times looking at me at the cafeteria. also, she started having dinner by herself. one of my friends who works with her said that i should go talk to her & try my luck again. should i?
