As a community, Gay men tend to take the lead in "mainstreaming" various forms of recreational drugs. Now it's Meth. But in the 70/80s it was Coke. 80/90s, Ecstasy. I'll bet in the 1940's it was pot. The younger gays are extremely social, and the drug-of-the-moment tends to be a "clubbing enhancer" as opposed to oblivion drugs like heroin.

gay people are not more into meth than straight people. straight peaple seem to be in to it asmuch as gays
