How come you think that all americans are alike. I remember when my one friend told me that I was different then most americans. He said that I was nicer and very respectful to people. Plus I am a virgin and that shocked him even more. The reason why I am asking is because my hubby is from india and I just wanted him andother people to know that I am very different and I don't judge. I just want people to know that.

Kudos to you young woman. But unfortunately the US govt stats clear out the picture. I can't recall the exact figure but maximum girls have had enjoys sex even before reaching the age of 16. Moreover American movies & TV Shows have potrayed a very bad picture of their own women. Serials like Sex & the city, Bold and the beautiful & recently run some with Housewives do potray American women with loose character. I personally don't agree with it as I have a lot of females friends in US but then its the image created by your own people. You shouldn't be blaming others for it.

I don't think that way. Not all Americans are alike, just like not all Indians are alike. I'm confused about your hubby, it sounds like he married you and doesn't even know you particularly well?
